a drawing i did in about an hour looking @ a picture i took of my friend's twins...its not complete but for the most part it is...

This is a sketch based on an anatomy book.

Quick sketch with a pencil of a deer. Drawn from one I saw at Lincoln Park Zoo.

cheetah killed; same drawing but scanned, not photographed.

Eu teria que pinta-lo, mas tenho medo de estragar o desenho... por enquanto, fica assim =p

This is one of my favorite sketches. Each stroke is seperate but they make a whole and It probably took me two hundred pen and ink sketches to get to this and now I'm not quite in practice.

A bunch of inked sketches I did recently. I'm feeling pretty good about my lines at the minute.

I watched a video on how to do sketches from very quick poses (between 15s and 1 minute), which is basically scribbling and trying to build up a sense of the form without getting bogged down in details.

These little sketches on a post-it note were more or less my first attempt, going from a couple of 30 second poses I found on a video at Croquis Café.

At the moment, this is my favourite technique for shorter poses.

i´m doing the vector version in illustrator...

Ah, I haven't worked with charcoal in an age. My sister had a baby girl on February 3rd, and I drew this for her and her husband to hang up to commemorate the event.

All soft vine charcoal on medium-weight sketch paper, 16x24. A picture as opposed to a scan.

10 second quick gestural sketches of my boyfriend working in the garage. Medicine Hat, AB, Canada.

It's been a while since I sketched at the Dufferin Mall food court. Today I ventured over and put some ink on paper.

I'm not one for crowds but because it was so packed I had to share a table with "Gus". Nothing comes for free so "Gus" had to (unknowingly) pose for me.

Line sketch taken from a lovely image I saw on Ichut's photostream...thanks for the inspiration!

: experimental shot taken on my IPhone...not sure if it works as well as a scan

Sketched at Andrews Farm in Wading River. #inktober, #inktober2016

little creatures, who are they? what are they saying? I can feel they are developing, growing.......... I wonder how this journey will evolve

This doodley sketch was made for the Sketchbook Challenge and for IA. I'm not too great at symmetry, so that was my biggest challenge!

Merveilleuse exposition "Samouraïs" au Musée du quai Branly.

I submitted a design for a London nightclub/bar that has just been approved... these are just a few of the sketches.

The guards will not let me sketch. Many people, therefore no stationary in front of the works, nor standing in a corner, no leaning against the wall ... I managed to sketch a little in the middle of all these heads, the guide who speaks with passion (the interpretation is very very free on the reproduction of paintings by Caravaggio ... I can not do everything together at that stage). The exhibition was great.

It's a very simple sketch that my mum turned into the amazing embroidery over here:

Sketched from CB2 cafe, looking across East Rd...The Vine used to be called The Boat Race, which had live music and comedy every night.

Im Textilmuseum "tim" in der Sonderschau zur Strumpfmode: Eine Strickmaschine im typischen "Industriegrün", das lt. Farbpsychologen beruhigend wirkt.

This lady was drumming so rapidly that I had no idea how to include her hands so I focused on her lovely grin. Afterwards I added a few lines to suggest multiple drumsticks.

I just got a pentel brush pen so I was keen to try it out after everyone raving about them.
