I'm starting to watch "Freaks & Geeks" for a second time. This short lived tv series, with only 18 episodes, is one of my top three favorite tv shows. (The Wire and Northern Exposure are my other two).
Bill Haverchuck is one of the geeks, who throughout the series, had some of the best comedic moments.
This is my Family Guy tribute. I know it's not that great. Chris's face is completely wrong but it's not bad for a quick sketch.
Spending my "pause-café" with a $0.99 iPhone app, Type Drawing. It had been at least 3 years since I happened upon the original, online version by the same name... so I was glad to hear about it turning up in the App Store. It was hella fun then, and it's hella fun now.
I'll be the happiest camper around, if the next update includes support for zoom-in/out gestures, and full-resolution drawings. I'd like to use existing photos & art as backgrounds in Type Drawing, but to have the artwork sized at screen resolution makes it little more than a game app for me :-/
99 sketches... and 99 pages of quotations!
This is the LAST page of my third book!
I have already started working on Book 4, but it is different from the other three. I'm not even sure just where it will take me... but in a different direction, that's for sure.

I am learning how to draw figures. I do daily sketches of people, but I find out I am too slow to draw. I think I have to learn more about body. I like Leonardo's drawing about figure.

Bairo Alto Urbansketchers Encounter 11.12.2011
After lunch I went to Urban Sketchers Encounter at Largo Camoes. People holding sketchbooks were coming from all around. After a short meeting and making appointment for after dark watching the drawings, we scattered again to sketch the streets of Bairro Alto. The conditions were perfect, with good weather and good company also. I drew sitting on the threshold of the house on a narrow street, Rua dos Salgadeiros.
