I believe this is just a placebo, this button does not effect the traffic lights in any perceivable way.

Can see the specks on the far left and far right sides. I've been putting off lens-testing to verify they're on the sensor and not the lenses... but it's now official... same spots, different lenses. Intimidated by the process of sensor cleaning, but hey... live and learn, eh?
It's likely these same spots can be seen on most of my images. Apparently better seen on wide open shots. I now feel for those who have ever had to consider not only the various options to remove these unsightly, invasive critters but also the potential damage and even total camera loss...
...well, let's not get dramatic...

Professor Yan Li is leading the effort to design new materials for self-powering sensors that can withstand higher temperatures than conventional sensor materials.
“For sensing, energy storage, and energy harvesting capability in space, temperature tolerance is important,” says Li, adding current materials lose all functionality at more than 200 degrees Celsius.

Sensors are mounted on 2 inch square blocks of wood. The electronic bit on the side is the distance adapter, which interfaces between the actual sensor and the Phidgets interface board. See pingplatform.wordpress.com for more info.

drumsolo. Leerlingen maken in dit Lab een interactieve muziekinstallatie, waarmee ze aan het eind van de workshop een optreden geven.
Het ingraveren van eigen naam op eigen mobiel is erg populair.
