A knitting sampler, knitted last night and about to be frogged. I used the yarn that I got from the Biggan Dups class on Continental Knitting at the iKnit Weekender. It is DK weight 100% Australian Merino Wool and a delight to knit with. All of this stitch patterns were worked from "400 Knitting Stitches: Great Stitch Patterns" (Murdoch Books) - except the "heel stitch" which I found on www.thedietdiary.com/blog/lucia/525 - and the stitch names and page numbers can be seen in the 'notes' as you hover over the photos on their flickr page.
so far this year I have had 3 beer samplers, a number that seems lower than it should be. This weekend, Dan and I met up with some friends at J.J. Bitting in Woodbridge, where large quantities of beer were consumed. They had a special beer sampler placemat, with a circle for each tiny glass, and descriptions of each beer. Definitely a very good setup. Their amber was by far my favorite, although the IPA was surprisingly smooth and tasty.
The bottom rows are experiments of mine. The stitch patterns at the top are from Mon Tricot 900 Stitches Patterns.
Sampler of brews from Titanic Brewery including: Triple Screw Light Ale, Boiler Room Nut Brown Ale, Britannic Best Bitter, Captain Smith's Rye Ale, White Star India Pale Ale, and Shipbuilders Oatmeal Stout. The brewery is steps away from the University of Miami (Coral Gables).
I love this blanket pattern, mostly because it’s easy to carry around with me since it’s all little blocks.
I may change my mind once I get to the part where I have to join them all together :)

I created the pattern for this sampler as a play on the old addage, "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away." A good friend of mine, who is an MD, recently turned thirty. As anyone who knows him can tell you, he has quite the coffee obsession. I got some strange looks while I was stitching this piece, but I think the MD in question will enjoy having this in his office.

A Sue Daly design. Machine and Paper pieced, hand appliqued. Machine quilted using a quilt-as-you-go method.
Beecher's cheddar, Hook's blue cheese, Brie Brûlée, caña de oveja with crackers, olives, cornichons, marionberry jam, dijon mustard and honey.
The three of us shared this tasty sampler plater and had a nice time together.
Christmas Sampler in red, green & white. Assortment of rice crispy treats, oreos, pretzels, & graham crackers.
Bit of trouble with the star points on the one on the right.

Was to be another mixed stitch sampler but i lost the battle,and it became a simple stem stitch sampler.Design celtic hounds ,which i've used to represent the hounds of annwn,who hunt on all hallows eve.The material was a present for my mum from an older brother bought while fighting in the vietnam war.Mum had a lovely dress and jacket made from it once ken was home safe and kept the off cuts .
Hand Embroidered Sampler Says, Bless the Stove the Pots And Pans Bless the Cook With nimble Hands. Has pots, pams, flowers stove and women. Colors are blue, green, red, black and gold. This is a finished sampler that needs to be put in a frame. Measures 12 x 14 1/2.
Yes I once had time to quilt. And I loved it! I machine sewed the pieces together and did all hand quilting. This is a queen sized bedquilt. It's huge! And quite tattered now. I need to put alot of time into restoring it.
sampler/scrap quilt using kaffe fassett fabrics. this is just winged without any sort of pattern. I did use some block patterns from memory, but that's about it.
A compilation I came across while browsing Pure Volume. Fueled by Ramen's the label for the likes of Fall-Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, This Providence, etc.
