Same text, different emphases

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

The Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary in Klagenfurt at the Lake Wörthersee on Benedictine Square was consecrated in 1624 and belongs to the at the same time built Franciscan monastery, which was later cared for by the Benedictines. According to them, the adjacent square is called Benediktinerplatz, the church earlier on was listening to the name of Benedictine church.

History

The present church of Saint Mary was founded in 1613 by the Catholic Carinthian estates with the adjoining Franciscan monastery. The consecration of the monastery took place in 1617. The church was built by Adam Kolnig and Johann Baptist Klöpfer and was consecrated in 1624. In a fire in 1636 the church was badly damaged, destroyed the high altar. The great city fire of 1723 survived the interior undamaged. In 1638, the tower was rebuilt, in 1723 it was raised and provided with onion helmet and lantern. 1650/51, the Antonius chapel was added to the choir on the north side, donated by Johann Georg Rosenberg. The monastery was increased in 1672 and 1713.

The church was from 1613 to 1806 Franciscan church. From 1807 to 1903 it served as Benedictine Church as Klagenfurt Dependance of the Benedictine monks resident in St. Paul's Abbey in Lavanttal. On the Benedictines the change of the patrocinium goes back. From 1909 to 1986, the Marienkirche was cared for by the Jesuits. The current rector of St. Mary's Church is Pavo Dominkovic OFM (Ordo Fratrum Minorum Capucinorum).

Die römisch-katholische Marienkirche in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee am Benediktinerplatz wurde 1624 geweiht und gehört zum gleichzeitig erbauten Franziskanerkloster, das später von den Benediktinern betreut wurde. Nach ihnen heißt der angrenzende Platz Benediktinerplatz, die Kirche früher Benediktinerkirche.

Geschichte

Die heutige Marienkirche wurde 1613 von den katholischen Kärntner Landständen mit dem angrenzenden Franziskanerkloster gegründet. Die Weihe des Klosters fand 1617 statt. Die Kirche stammt von Adam Kolnig und Johann Baptist Klöpfer und wurde 1624 geweiht. Bei einem Brand wurde die Kirche 1636 schwer beschädigt, der Hochaltar zerstört. Den großen Stadtbrand von 1723 überstand die Inneneinrichtung unbeschädigt. 1638 entstand der Turm neu, 1723 wurde er erhöht und mit Zwiebelhelm und Laterne versehen. 1650/51 wurde nordseitig am Chor die Antoniuskapelle angebaut, die von Johann Georg Rosenberg gestiftet worden war. Das Kloster wurde 1672 und 1713 aufgestockt.

Die Kirche war von 1613 bis 1806 Franziskanerkirche. Von 1807 bis 1903 diente sie als Benediktinerkirche als Klagenfurter Dependance der im Stift St. Paul im Lavanttal ansässigen Benediktiner. Oxford Diecast have modelled the same Scammell Showtrac (HTO 221) in two different liveries. It was initially restored by the late Roger Austin in the livery of original owner Hibble & Mellors (model 76SST004) but later purchased by Joby Carter and repainted into the colours of his family's firm (model 76SST008).

The last betta I had in this bowl looked up the same way.
