====================
The church of Santa Llogaia d'Espot, in the village of the same name. It's located in the Catalan Pyrenees, at the feet of the gorgeous Sant Maurici - Aigües Tortes national park.
Same Downtown Dubai viewpoint as the prior shot but this one in the morning. The air was still hazy and very humid.
GPS is the exact spot of the shot.

Let me tell you about a girl that I used to be,
Same name same face but a different me,
She didn't know what she was thinking,
Didn't know her world was sinking,
Had her dreams written on a paper in her hand,
Held on tight but she didn't understand,
The love and hurt that she's replacing,
All the past that she's erasing,
We all get lost sometimes and we forget who we are and we forget who we are
Somewhere along the way, we're all running in the crazy race,
Never thinking about the hearts we break,
And as our hope starts fading away things are never gonna be the same,
Cause when you're standing there all alone,
Losing everything you've ever known,
You're staring at a different face things are never gonna be the same,
I wish that I could share a different point of view,
But the words coming out wouldn't speak the truth,
You wouldn't know what I was really thinking,
And I'd return to the girl, who's sinking,
Sinking down to the world that waits below,
And I don't want to be there anymore,
Don't wanna be there anymore,
We all get lost sometimes and we forget who we are and we forget who we are...
The same 3 and 1/2 ft. Spiny Tailed Iguana as uploaded before.
Double click to enlarge for details. By far the most colorful of the black/grey Spiny Tails I have seen in Mexico. Maybe breeding colors.....I mislabeled the prior image, wrongly calling it a Rock Iguana.....it is not, and note the much smaller spines than it's cousin the Green Tree Iguana, also present and common here in Puerto Vallarta, which has very long spines in the adults. Both are eaten by some of the rural locals, and reportedly do taste a bit like chicken......this image first spotted and snapped by my son.

taken on the same day as www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/40361665933/in/datepo.... It was a long time ago that I used my drone, and I wanted to go to the south part of the Biesbosch to see if I could make an additional image of another part of the Noordwaard. It would make a nice addition to www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/42514739985/in/datepo....
The weather was great, there was excellent light, but when coming back home, there was not a single shot of the part that I made a picture of that was worth showing. All too empty and flat.
Luckily I also turned the drone around straight into the sun, and there was the depth that i found thanks to the large shadows of the low hanging sun and the trees giving the shadows.
And another nice addition is the haze in the distance, and again the extremely clear images of DJI mavic.
A lesson learned i guess, making drone shots can be very difficult.
This is the same picture with obviously lots changes. Used Lightroom CC and the new Luminar 4 for the night sky with Milky Way stars.
Here's a link to the day version.

Once again I was digging out my Christmas Card shot and came across one that I like. Taken on the same day, this is a great spot that tourists pull over and get an up close and personal view of our Mountain. Not on this day however, I was struck by the harshness of the scene in the place that I love, raw and forbidding. I love a challenge. :-)
blow it up large and climb inside.....
SOOC no crop, same day and place as the previos one.
Thank you for your warm response and all the nice comments der Flickr friends!!

"It's the same old story, tell me where does it end,

A composite of the same bird with two different sides of it. This is one of the rarest of all warblers found in Ontario. They are flagged as 'sensitive' species on eBird and thus no report of sighting is available to public in general.
After years of restoration effort of their habitat in Simcoe County Forest, about an hour drive north of Toronto, 6 males showed up this year with the exciting prospect that females would soon follow and they start breeding there. Arranged visitation was organized to allow people to see or hear them from safe distance. One could hear them sing and occasionally see them at a distance. However, finding them closer and out in the open was sheer luck. On this day (it was my second attempt), after an hour of waiting I finally saw one male chasing a Cedar Waxwing and landing on a red pine tree nearby for a total of 20 seconds of viewing, just enough to get some decent photos. Needless to say that it was a life bird for me.

Same day and still early morning - 08h30, about half an hour later than yesterday's post at sunrise. Although sunrise is over by now, it is still early morning light which kept me going for another half hour.
I spent three days around Vestrahorn, allowing me to capture this iconic site under a variety of weather conditions, both in the early mornings and late afternoons. The whole series is at www.flickr.com/photos/132192297@N04/albums/72157677866574087.
Same morning as before but a different type of shot , its the same fence but with two horses, Mark ( code.dude ) and I encouraged those two over so that we could take some shots they came to see what we were doing we only had time to take a few !

Or has the sun gone to my head?? Happy Weekend and Clicking to you all.
It was just a very ordinary walk in the same Helsinki suburb surroundings, still with patches of ice here and there, but sun already was shining warmer and friendlier than a couple of weeks ago. And then behind a turn of the path opened a view over a little bay, and sunlight fell on the tops of last year dropworts in so marvelous angle that all the scene was flooded with light... I deliberately let the flare come into the photo, because it reveals the feeling from that moment like fairies would be dancing in the branches and chasing the winter away. :-)
The red-bellied woodpecker (Melanerpes carolinus) is a medium-sized woodpecker of the family Picidae. It breeds mainly in the eastern United States, ranging as far south as Florida and as far north as Canada. Though it has a vivid orange-red crown and nape it is not to be confused with the red-headed woodpecker, a separate species of woodpecker in the same genus with an entirely red head and neck that sports a solid black back and white belly. The red-bellied earns its name from the pale reddish blush of its lower underside.

same spot as previous picture, some days later.
There is a clearing to the right, which gives some nice light from the side.
This is a train I don't remember shooting and didn't give much thought to back 23 years ago, most likely because I really didn't like shooting the cab end of the switchers that CP/Soo and BNSF used around the Twin Cities during the 90s.
This CP switch job here is taking headroom on the East Main to spot cars at the elevator and a warehouse at Shoreham. Power is two ex-Milwaukee MP15s, an ex-MN&S SW1500, and an original Soo GP9, all in same paint. Not many of the MP15s got Soo paint, so looking back I'm glad I shot this. Soo 1555, 1539, 1400, and 402 on the East End Humboldt Switch in Minneapolis, MN back in July 1997. I'm wondering what that blue boxcar is but I didn't take a shot of it.

Maison de Bonneterie was a chain of high-end fashion department stores in the Netherlands. The main branches were in Amsterdam and The Hague. Smaller branches in Laren and Heemstede had also existed.
The Amsterdam store was founded in 1889 and was situated along the Kalverstraat and Rokin in a Parisian style building set around a top lit dome. The branch in The Hague was located in a centrally located building from 1913, in a style typical for the department stores built in many European cities during the same period.
All stores closed on August 24, 2014. ...
