A very special parade for NYC this year as the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy was repealed (or in the process of getting completely repealed), and Same-Sex Marriage was passed in the state of New York the same weekend the parade was set to occur. No matter what gender or sexual orientation people were, New Yorkers everywhere came to celebrate the historic progress which NY is propelling the country towards.

This little boy, who was his parents' first child, was born and died the same day in 1934.
I'm acquainted with his sister, who told me where to find his resting place in the Roberta City Cemetery for Find A Grave (and [of course] to pay my respects).
His father's name may actually be misspelled - Mr. Harris' grave has it spelled as "Marian". Their sister/daughter is going to double-check the birth certificate and let me know which is correct. The baby's uncle 'went on a mission' to have all of his family's graves marked (awesome!) quite a few years ago, and may have gotten the spelling incorrect here.
