These rusty stairs were found in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans behind the King Solomon Baptist Church. The church has been abandoned for two years at the time of this photo.

Rusty, aged, encrusted are words that come to mind when looking at this boat chain in New Quay harbor. However, strength, reliable and timeless also come to mind. This sleepy fishing village in England depends on these chains to keep their boats secured during the ebb and flow of daily life and the tide.
