I believe this is a female Rusty-collared Seedeater but there are several species of seedeater in the Pantanal and several of the females look similar. This one was in a small flock of several male Rusty-collared Seedeaters but they weren’t all too interested in having their picture taken. This one, however, gave me a great pose in an interesting setting.

Found this cool heavily rusted hinge while I was walking around Mary's Point, New Brunswick the other day. Love rust.
This rusty seat seems to get worse without falling apart each time I see it. I'm beginning to think its actually an Art installation ! The art of nature with a man made object I guess. You can still sit on it , just. That undercut erosion is getting bad though, wont be long before the council remove it I guess.
The rusty nature of the seat should stand as a warning to those who wander to close to the cliff edge here in winter or in stormy weather. The cliffs aren't especially high , but they look deceptively safe, and many people have been swept into the sea by large waves crashing over the shore.
The view is of Trevose Head, with the entrance to Constantine Bay, and Boobies Bay to your right.
Lovely old, broken and rusty bicycles, which I turned to b&w for a better effect.
This came in 3rd place in The Planet Earth contest "Black and White" in the December 2019 contest.

I took this at Hatfield House (Hertfordshire UK.) A rusty lock is showing its age . Thecolour of the rust and the texture of the wood captured my attention.
The remains of the Peter Iredale ship which sank in a storm more than hundred years ago near the Columbia River bar.
The third rusty roller to make it into my photostream, this one in a field close to West Burnthills, which you can see among the trees in the distance :-)

Endeans Mill is deep in the central North Island and close to Pureora Forest Park. A wonderful historical site filled with aging relics of the timber industry.
