Rusty Naped Pitta, Hydrornis oatesi, Burung Pacat Gunung
Elusive pitta that can be found in highland of Peninsular Malaysia and also few parts of Indochina region.
A rusty shovel and bucket I use too clean out my fire pit.

This was taken early this morning. He was in the bathroom watching my husband shave. This is the first time he's curled up in a sink so just had to take a quick shot.

This perch or Moring is just outside my wife's favorite eatery called Rusty's. The food is good and they always have a decent live band. However, each time I go I find myself wishing I brought my camera, because there is always a Pelican hanging out on this perch. Therefore I dub him Rusty. Welcome to my feed Rusty, my you become internet famous, at least a little famous.

Worrying about my Dad today- we had to take him to Athens Hospital today for a suspected heart attack. They are running tests, but have also transferred him to the bigger Huntsville Hospital for the larger cardio unit observations rooms. Due to COVID, none of us will be allowed to go into the hospital. I think Dad is feeling very alone and afraid. This is a cruelest of times. Please, if you can, have a thought for my Dad as we struggle through this. AND a thought for Mom, who can hardly understand what is going on. :(

I am sad beyond words to have to say that my Dad passed away today- Tuesday. He was and always will be my hero.
