Rusty, maybe, but I bet it has some stories to tell?

Slightly enhanced using Apple camera edits. These nuts appear to clamp the lower jaw or anvil into place using these large nuts. The steel rod to the left is solid steel and measures approximately 10-12 inches in diameter. This a massively built structure; very impressive. One observer suggested it might be a cotton bale press for making large cotton bales. Because it is located beside a major railroad yard that seems likely.
You wired me awake
and hit me with a hand of broken nails
you tied my lead and pulled my chain
to watch my blood begin to boil
But i'm gonna break
i'm gonna break my
i'm gonna break my rusty cage
Yeah, i’m gonna break
i’m gonna break my
i’m gonna break my rusty cage and run
Too cold to start a fire
i'm burning diesel burning dinosaur bones
i'll take the river down to still water
and ride a pack of dogs
But i'm gonna break
i'm gonna break my
i'm gonna break my rusty cage
Yeah, i’m gonna break
i’m gonna break my
i’m gonna break my rusty cage and run
