Wonderful old rustic church door and window in a hilltop town south of Alicante, Spain.

This grass in endangered there are signs all over the beach with warnings about damaging it.

I shot this on the bluff. I have posted a few from that walk and the rest are on my blog. I have some shots from yesterday I want to post tomorrow so I am putting these to rest. =)

A first-winter male Rustic Bunting at Thursley Common - Surrey. A rarity in Britain, this bird has been wintering on Thursley Common for several weeks along with several other members of its genus; mainly Reed Buntings but including an equally rare Little Bunting!

A very skulking bird to photograph as it kept hidden for most of the time only emerging for a short period, although the lighting conditions hardly helped!

Another capture from our trip to Balaclava - an Ontario ghost town.

Rustic is beautiful. The air is breezy most of the time, the shallow water of the sea is only metres away. At night, you can hear the whispers of the wind, and the constant but soft rumbling of the sea as the gentle waves come ashore. Life is simple and beautiful... rustic in every sense of the word.

This photo was taken within the compound of a travellers inn, about 20 minutes' drive from Kota Kinabalu. Yes, I heard the whispers and the rumbling. My room was just above those stilts.

I'm not quite sure where this was taken. From what I could tell, it's located on a stretch about 35 miles east of Durango, on highway 160, running through the southern portion of the Rio Grande National Forest. I love capturing rustic barns, and this one just seemed to be calling my name! LOL Hope you enjoy!

One of many fences I photographed on my recent holiday.

Happy Fence Friday!

There is something uniquely charming about old barns. And winter too. They make a good combo, don't you think?

Happy Sunday, everyone!

Here's another rustic, old barn I found in southwest Colorado. It's actually on the same property as the previous barn. From what I could tell, it's located on a stretch about 35 miles east of Durango, running along the 160 highway through the southern portion of the Rio Grande National Forest. I hope you enjoy!

Sadly (for us) the conditions further North were apparently not snowy enough to drive large numbers of Thrushes and Buntings onto the Korean peninsula, as is normal. Nevertheless, we still found Rustic Buntings regularly - for UK birders a super sight !

I like this rustic log pile by the Sid eof the track on my walk last week

2nd attempt. Ha! Because I think the first one doesn't say rustic at all.

E bought a dozen of red roses for Christmas. I was about to throw it again today when I said to myself, wait... this could be the rustic flower. :D
