This fence leads down into what is normally a big pasture with hundreds of cows in it but now, due to high water in the river, is a lake deep enough to canoe in. I know it's deep enough because when I took this shot there was actually a couple paddling in a canoe.

Quick version of rustic buns (on the table in 30 minutes)
The measure is for 4 larger or 6 smaller buns.
1 cup yogurt + a little to coat
2 cups of flour
(Two cups of flour in total, of which 1 cup is whole wheat flour and the other consists of 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour, so I add the spelled flour, oat, barley or flour you like, until fill the other cup. I always put a tablespoon of ground flaxseed there.)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoon(10gr)baking powder or baking soda
1 teaspoon dry spices (oregano or thyme)
1/2 cup mixed pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds oat flakes to sprinkle on buns
The dough is sticky, mix it with a spoon, then shape the balls with wet or oiled hands. Coat each bun with yogurt and sprinkle with seeds. Bake at 180c for 10-15 minutes in a preheated oven.
We like a crispy crust but if you like a soft one, coat the freshly baked buns with a little water and cover with a kitchen towel.

I don't usually post a lot of multiples of the same subject, but I loved this sign so much I'm going to post the other side.
In almost all African countries, there are hardly any medium-sized businesses. The gap between rich and poor is obvious and not good for society. This state of affairs can also be seen in the way people live. This house in the country is already something out of the rich category. Poor looks quite different...I will show enough. Of course there is also swank. But you find it more in the big cities.
In fast allen Ländern Afrikas gibt es kaum einen Mittelstand. Die Schere zwischen arm und reich ist unübersehbar und nicht gut für die Gesellschaft. Diesen Zustand erkennt man sehr gut daran, wie die Menschen wohnen. Dieses Haus auf dem Land ist schon was aus der Kategorie reich. Arm sieht ganz anders aus...werde ich noch genügend zeigen.

And the grasses save the day! They appear at the end of summer, soft and wispy, they seem so fragile. Don't be deceived. These grasses can withstand all the unpleasantness that autumn throws at them, rain, wind, cold...through it all they'll toss their hair this way and that and dazzle you with their beauty :)
Actually I fibbed a little this morning. I had wanted to go to Wales early yesterday morning but I had been expecting it to be grey and pretty cool, almost cold. But by the time I had gone to bed late I could see it was forecast to be sunny and pretty warm, and I really wanted it to be grey and miserable. As it was on this morning at Holme Fell, the autumn colours as saturated as my undies. But it was great! Just look at it. And here in Congleton we haven't had rain for weeks. It's awful! No, give me rain and grey and I'm pretty happy.
A lovely rustic hut we discovered on one of our hikes this autum in South Tyrol, Italy ... I can imagine sitting there, enjoying the evening sun on the bench with a good book and maybe a glas of fine wine ... and perhaps some fairies or elves would join me, too ;))

Eine rustikal 'schnuckelige' Hütte, die wir auf einer unserer Wanderungen diesen Herbst in Südtirol, Italien, entdeckt haben ... Ich kann mir vorstellen, dort in der Abendsonne auf der Bank zu sitzen - mit einem guten Buch und vielleicht einem Glas Wein ... und vielleicht schauen dann auch ein paar Feen oder Elfen vorbei ;))
