A native of the East Indies, this unusual, flightless duck has been exported to many countries to be bred for its eggs and meat. I encountered my first flock in Canada running like penguins (where they get their nickname) across a farmer's pen. This female is one of several released in a public park where they are thriving and breeding. With their comical personalities, and if I weren't into dogs, I'd have a bunch of these as pets.

The trouble with not having a particular photographic style or theme to follow is rather making my stream look like a car wreck at the moment. I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing but it's all part of your development as a photographer I keep telling myself. This is a deliberate attempt at Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) with a little bit of zoom twist (I think).
No prizes for guessing the runner... we both used to do a bit of running, but since I joined Flickr that activity has well and truly gone out of the window along with my waistline!
Something has got to give and my monies on the belt!
I was down the bank looking upwards to get this angle, best I could do with the sunburst even then I had a bit to do in PS! but love the efects though!
I've recently been playing Dying Light again, and I really love the concept of 'runners' and 'scouts' that go out into the zombie-infested city and look for supplies. As such, I wanted to make one inspired by them. I wanted the character to be very lightly equipped, and with something realistic - running shoes, and a quiet, reliable weapon (because I'm assuming ammunition wouldn't be plentiful in the apocalypse).
Hope you guys enjoy the figure!
