Pedestrian bridge in iron, built in 1913, blown up in 1940 by English soldiers, broke into 2 pieces. Got renovated and became a protected monument.
At first you may wonder what the title is all about? Try to zoom in at the center. Have you ever taken a photo and then afterwards discovered elements included that were not intended but improved the photo?
Photo was taken yesterday at the bird sanctuary/ Habitat in Belmont. Autumn is really at its prime now.

Not only do Killdeer hatchlings come out of the egg with almost adult-sized legs and feet, but they are also already quite adept at using them. Along the auto tour road at Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge near Oyster Creek, Texas.
Not much going on this still warm morning at the "pond" but goofy coots chasing each other. I'm not sure why the trailing splash isn't sharper - shutter speed was certainly fast enough. I guess it's just DOF or lack thereof. The coot was definitely coming my way. With the Winter Olympics coming up, I thought it does somewhat resemble the speed skater.
