Passing the depot and hitting the C&O diamond around the usual 60 mph at Romulus, Mi. is Chicago to Detroit train CD14 on 9-6-73 with the usual mix of N&W and former Wabash geeps. The tower remained for a number of years however the depot burned not to long after this.
This was my runner up image for Macro Monday. The squiggly bits round the outside of the plunger disc on the cafetiere.

a feeling of new energy that allows you to continue to do something after you had begun to feel tired
Yesterday I made myself a gift and bought a new camera. I just needed a new instruction book during my morning coffee :-)
So I went to my very familiar places and made some shots. I think the "continuous-shot-mode" works ok.
...passing Bowling, noticed that the painter was having an "off day" when doing the name on one side :D
After posting yesterday's shot of B965 with the double rainbow and sun hole at Stockport, I figured I would post my runner up for favorite shots of yesterday's chase. It's hard to believe that about 10 minutes before my previous shot, we see B965 navigating through the heavy fog as it approaches CP-124 in Stuyvesant, NY. Boy it's funny how fast things can change...
