The "Tiderunner" is a shrimp boat made famous by its appearance in the movie "The Prince of Tides". It was featured prominently in the film, which was based on the novel of the same name by Pat Conroy. The boat has become a recognizable symbol of Beaufort, South Carolina, and is also known for its connection to a local shrimper, Emmett Paul
Prompt: Create a digital Fine Art of the abandoned shrimp boat Tiderunner, resting in shallow water among reeds during daylight. The wooden vessel is heavily weathered and deteriorating, with peeling white and blue paint, visible rust streaks, and broken railings. The name "TIDERUNNER" is still clearly visible on the stern, along with the faded port name "Frogmore S.C." A yellow barrel lies on the decaying deck amid other scattered debris.
The boat is partially grounded in marshy grass, surrounded by still, murky water reflecting the hull. Dense green foliage forms a backdrop behind the boat, contrasting with the cracked windows and sagging structure. The daylight is bright and natural, casting soft shadows and emphasizing the textures of aged wood, rusted metal, and overgrown reeds.
Style: digital fine art, no noise
Mood: Quiet, nostalgic, slightly melancholic
Lighting: Natural daylight
Color Palette: Weathered whites and blues, rust tones, marsh greens, water reflections
Aspect Ratio: Horizontal
Good morning dear Flickr friends of photography,
the last evening and the last sunset at Ao Nang Beach/ Krabi before we traveled further to Railey by long tail boat. I liked the gleam on the water and the structure of the sand like dunes. You know that I love silhouettes. The golden light gave the scenery something festive, that I wanted to catch. Not the best sunset ever in my gallery but I tried my best to catch a moment of personal synchronization in a scenery of silence and harmony.
Happy weekend!

After taking the photo I expressed my uncertainty to a good friend of mine regarding whether, had I this opportunity again, I would have wanted the subject running towards rather than away from the water. This friend expressed preference towards the latter. I asked, curiously, why? Did it not make sense that the swimmer is running towards the water? She said that as a viewer she was drawn in to contemplating what it could be that the subject is so intensely running towards. She told me this was inspiring to her - that the runner is heading towards something unknown, rather than water, something that can be left to the viewer to imagine.
Thank you for your passing comments and favorites so much! I read every one, and appreciate them dearly.

I've recently been playing Dying Light again, and I really love the concept of 'runners' and 'scouts' that go out into the zombie-infested city and look for supplies. As such, I wanted to make one inspired by them. I wanted the character to be very lightly equipped, and with something realistic - running shoes, and a quiet, reliable weapon (because I'm assuming ammunition wouldn't be plentiful in the apocalypse).
Hope you guys enjoy the figure!
