I decided Laguna could use a repaint too... mine had a pretty bad paint job anyhow. I gave her a little fishy tattoo because I thought it might be cute XD
I've been sitting on this gal for over a year only half cleaned. I finally sat down this morning and finished her.
This is my best (and only 3rd) repaint so far on a Monster High. I only used pastels and watercolor pencils. Green is an odd color to work on, enough said on that.
2006 IFDC & Barbie convention exclusive .
It has some similar pieces to RC's Sweet and Graphic but also includes extra pieces like the yellow jacket which came in a print version and also a solid yellow w/ just the brown high waistband stripe.

Here is a picture of the Mississippi River Bridges at Vicksburg. The new bridge was in the process of being repainted. It was originally dull green and was repainted light gray.
Photo was taken July 2003 from the river.
I started working on a repaint of the Create-A-Monster Vampire. The default make up looked a little strange, and I didn't want to give that to my sister, so I painted the lips black and the eyes pink (both my niece's suggestion). This is going to be my niece's gift to my sister for Mother's Day. I also painted the finger nails (and the much less defined toe nails) pink to match the eyes. I just have to put it all together.

Two ooak dolls I'm working on. The one on the left is a partial repaint and the one on the right is a complete except for the eyebrows.
Walls are Benjamin Moore 'Classic Gray' (Regal Select) in an eggshell finish. Cabinet is Benjamin Moore 'Hale Navy' (Regal Select) in an eggshell finish. Ceilings are Zinsser Stainblock Ceiling Paint in flat bright white (straight out of the can). Ceiling fixture is West Elm's large mobile chandelier.

My first ever COMPLETE Monster High repaint. I don't have the proper size brushes anymore, so I had to cut down old ones. It is wobbly and wonky. Sort of off. But she came out okay. Now I just need to find someone to do a re-root for me. Perhaps an exchange? One repaint for one reroot?
