Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

Elsecar Heritage Railway, Elsecar, near Barnsley, UK. The locomotive was made in Sheffield at Meadowhall.
I was a busy girl today and also repainted a monster high doll. I'd like to sell her but I'm not sure where to do it... Etsy? I've never sold on etsy or ebay before... Would asking $65 for her be too much? MH is an alien world to me compared to BJDs lol
Like I said, I found a Cassy lot at one thrift store but I also found a single Cassy doll at a completely different store a couple of days before. that. Kind of a funny coincidence. I tend to think of it as a single find, since I don't think I've ever seen one before. Since I have about six now and this one was a double, I decided to repaint one. Probably a bad idea since I'm still struggling with getting Bratz right, and they're huge in comparison, but what's done is done. Or rather, a work in progress.
Forgot to take a photo of this. That's fluff on her eyebrow, sorry. She's been sitting on my painting desk, almost finished, for a while now. I just need some design to paint on her cheek, some brat (heh) put pen on her face. You can't see it in this photo, I have an older photo in my stream you can see it, it's on the side. While I can get it out, I'd rather just paint over it. Any suggestions are welcome. I may put glitter on her. I know alot of people out there are opposed to glitter on makeup, I'm not one of them. Love it, though sometimes it does look off. She's still a work in progress.
I still need to put streaks in her hair, maybe red. I think it's saran hair and that's the only saran I've currently got :P There's a small clump that was cut, just behind her fringe. Hair quality is actually really good, I'm impressed. No idea what she was before I painted her, just that the makeup didn't come off easy.
I've repainted all of the bits I was unhappy with. This pic shows everything too darkly, but gets the idea across
Yup, these are still the same repaints from last time, just took new pics of them... I'll be working on more repaints soon :)
