After outlining the eyes a little, I go back and start to add the eyeshadow. This is just the first coat... so it won't be as even as it will be when we're finished.

I put a darker color next to the eye, for the upper eyelid... then I use the same color, but add a lot of retardant so it stays wet, and brush it on over the area where I want the eyeshadow to be.

I then take a q-tip and smudge it so that the edges are not sharp lines.

I add some of the color under the eye as well.

Kay-Bee Toys had special exclusive repaints of most of the Kenner Predators, giving them all ivory-colored skin, and new armor! Stalker benefitted the most from this, because now you can SEE his xenomorph armor! See the alien head? The tail? The armor pieces on the shoulders and boots? The mottled camo-colored armor is quite fitting, too.

Noel Cruz is one of the most versatile & distinguished repaint artists in the doll community. He is most recognized for his character & celebrity based dolls due to their uncanny resemblance to the people they portray. His dolls are derived from several models like Gene, Tyler, Sydney, etc, by various doll-makers such as Robert Tonner & Franklin Mint. His repaints as well as his portraits are done with intricate detail to the point of being naturally lifelike in essence. Highly regarded among collectors and artists alike, Noel attempts to raise the bar and bring a fresh take to the common mass produced doll with every face he paints. Noel's specialty is with one of a kind repaints. The beauty of repaints is that almost no two are exactly alike just as no two artists are alike.

Seen in Accrington, newly repainted into Pilkington house colours from RH Buses livery. I don't recall ever seeing this vehicle out in service before repaint, so I presume that on Pilkington's acquisition of the vehicle it went straight to the paint shop!

My [https://www.flickr.com/people/ezzwan/] repaint

Ok I know I'm late on doing this along with all the others I uploaded last night. I've been so sick for over a week now and see no signs of getting well. So tomorrow I'm going to the Dr. and hopefully I can finally get better. So hope you like my late entry of my lovely day at the beach.

My first try at repainting a Barbie! I'm pretty happy with how she came out for my first try! I can't wait to try again! ^^

I did her hair too. :) She might need a reroot anyway, since it seems a little sparse on top... Maybe that'll be my next experiment!

Posey has always been my favourite LDD. So here is my fan contribution to her.

It was fun repaint. The decals are solvent slide. I wouldn't describe those as fun. When mixing the paint I was thinking about Peter and trying to come up with a Weigle-esque color. It's a very fine metallic silver with a few drops of a green pearl base coat. The color changes depending on lighting. It looks Weigle-ish to me.

Do you remember my Gaganás? (Lady Gaga + Satanás/Satan because she was ugly as hell) xD

It was my first repaint and well... It was terrible as you can see! ahahaha

So I decided to try to save her face one more time. Which was really hard work because I had done the first repainting with a permanent marker. - Kids, don't do this at home, I was very noob.-

The eyebrows were a challenge, but I used a secret ninja technique using white paint to cover the maker and shades of brown to reach the skin tone of the doll.

But in the end it was much better (or less ugly...)

I fixed her hair and followed the amazing tutorial for Shuiimedina to make bangs. Thanks a lot! <3

My new hobby: repainting/rehairing dolls.

One of my Repaints

Because I love Mystic Girls edition(last picture) by Simba and I still don't have them I decided to make a Steffi OOAK using the Mystic Girls as guide.

I repaint and I redressed my brunette Steffi dollscollector.blogspot.com/2011/01/steffi-love-in-colect..., and I also used for her Stardoll bag and gloves.

The only view I have of Mercedes Vario R101 NTA after repaint in Countryliner colours shows it crammed in the pack at Guildford depot on 6th August, 2009.

I have caught the repaint bug!! And since I had an extra Allan doll, I decided to repaint him today. Eventually I will get a Ken repainted. I have ordered one especially to repaint. Cant wait for him to get there.

Anyway, I decided I wanted this Allan to be a blonde blue eyed boy. So, that is what I did. I mixed up a blond color that was similar to painted hair Ken's hair color, but I decided I wanted to do some highlighting and shading on the hair. I went to town doing that.

I hope you enjoy this guy. I really had fun transforming him. :)

(I think i need to take a darker shot of this repaint,

as this picture doesn't show off the paint job that well.)

Protofrom Optimus Prime came with the 3 bot movie battle pack alongside Jazz and Brawl.

This was the only bot in the pack that i wasn't enthusiastic about. As much as I love Prime, the odd blue/grey paintjob did nothing for me.

But once i saw Jins repaint, i knew what must be done.

This was my first Transformers repaint, and i think it went pretty well. i can't wait to get my hands on more awesome molds with crappy paint schemes now :P

I also bulked up the lower half of the face with some random model parts to try and reduce the strange "sour lemons" expression that the original sculpt had.

the new faceplate looks a little odd from this angle, but i'm pleased with it overall.

ps. Does this head sculpt say "movie Soundwave" more than optimus prime to anyone else..or is it just me?

My first boy repaint :D I got him at second hand store. I have no idea what model from Bratz company he is.

Wow, a *real* bedroom with lights...

WOO HOO! We're getting there!

Next I add the eyelashes. I start by placing my paintbrush tip against the black eyeliner that I painted earlier... then painting outward and upward to make each individual eyelash.

GO SLOWLY! There is no need to rush eyelashes. I always count them as I go too, so that there is an even amount of lashes on each eye... and don't forget to paint the lower lashes!

Then there are the eyebrows.

These are difficult to get even. It really takes some eyeballing.

This is also when I add the color to the eyes. I start with a color slightly lighter than the base color, and paint it in a half moon arc (there is no need to paint the center, it will be covered with black).

Then I paint more and more lighter colors on... making sure to focus the lightest parts on one side of the eye.

After I like the color build up, I paint on the black pupils... going very slowly and making sure they look like they match, and don't give the doll a wonky stare.

After the black is painted on, I go back and add some more lighter colors to the iris... just to give it some pop.

As far as the eyebrows are concerned... I paint only the most simple, and basic of shapes first.... then try as hard as I can to mimic it on the other side. Once I feel that they are about even, I give them more detail.

I rather like the siren on the three eyed ghoul body! Check my profile for more information :).

I bought a tiny nativity set. It was so sloppily painted that their faces looked like they were melting off. So I fixed it.
