On my way home from KC this afternoon, I spotted some headlights coming at me, and I pulled off to shoot the train. Interestingly, the leader was a freshly repainted, flagless UP SD70ACe! I'm not going to lie, especially in contrast to the well worn look that so many of the flags are in, this is a welcome change.
Heya, been a while, just things going on. Anyway, here's a preview of my latest repaints. The repainted former Cleo on the right I've had done for a little while now, her hair is FINALLY on the way, should be another week. The Ghoulia head is my most recent, finished her two days ago. Just meant to be a random monster of sorts, on a CAM body. Both awaiting hair and real eyelashes. Will take pics and upload as soon as they're completed. Really happy with how they've turned out so far. I hope to be more active in both painting and photographing from now on :)
It appears that after 8 months of only having 1 repainted unit, the repaints are happening at a much quicker pace now. London Northwestern Railway class 350 no. 350267 is seen at Wolverton on a London bound service, it's first outing since repaint? 24th August
I've been told 350375 is due back from repaint within the next week, making that a total of 4 in new livery, compared to there being just 1 a week ago
Western Pacific caboose No 437 has received a fresh coat of paint and graphics, pictured at UP South Yard in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 11, 1984. It was built by International Railway Car Co. for the WP in December 1955. The caboose would be retired in less than two months and donated to the city of Elko, Nevada, where it was placed on permanent display at 7th and Railroad Streets, coupled to WP GP9 No. 727.
With a bit of rust and paint peeling a shabby NR113 is stabled at Spencer Jct in need of a repaint on 9-3-23
I might actually keep this girl, I like her a lot :) I did her as a test, I put crystals in her eyes instead of painting reflections, I think it looks nice!
Pues este es mi segundo intento de repaint >__< se que no está perfecto, pero estoy muy contenta con el resultado ^^
Here’s my repainted Disney Shang doll. I’ve had him for over 10 years now with his hair all chopped off and stuff but only recently did I decide to repaint him and trim his hair.
I wanted to integrate him better into my collection but who knows lol.
CP 9375 and KCS 4731 bring 243 through New Brighton on CPKC's Withrow Sub. 9375 was on the first motors to receive the CPKC paint, as evident by the amount of road grime built up.
Here’s my curvy Fashionista repaint and dye job lol.
I dyed her hair using red acrylic paint and tried to paint her to look more Asian cuz I felt the sculpt suited this more than a white person’s appearance lol.
Surprising things about this sculpt: it has sculpted bags under the eyes and it looks like a 1/6th scale head of the EAH Hunter head lol.
After a look at photos we decided to have the dark green bands repainted in Light Brunswick green. They were too dark in Mid Brunswick many thanks to Raymond and Fraser for the extra work. Also the front bumper was back from the powder coaters and tonight installed this finishes the front and gives the little bus her face back
Repainted Lothian 837 in the snow at West Granton on service 24 to Royal Infirmary H. 29th December 2017.
WSOR's trains in and out of Chicago normally traverse Metra territory east of Fox Lake, Illinois, in the overnight hours to avoid conflicts. Power problems the night before with the outbound train from Chicago caused the train to be parked at Rondout and rescue power dispatched from Janesville to get the train home. Freshly repainted WAMX 4181 leads the trains west across Metra territory and back towards home rails in a few miles.
The lead unit formerly wore BN green paint and was released from its makeover at the railroad's Horicon paint shop about a week ago.
