So I finished my repaints of Clawdia and Neighthan. Clawdia was a rush job where I focused more on personality than skill but yeah. I think I’m proud of how I could reduce her teeth paint but overall don’t look like I just left it blank.

Neighthan I debated on how detailed I should focus on his scarring but I figured leaving things a bit understated is more my forte.

Both his eyes are blue but one is the darkest I can manage and the other is the lightest so yeah.

By the great Sandra!!

On Friday 23rd February 2018 we picked up DT29 from its repaint back into red from Mardens and together with other work to say we are delighted with the result is an understatement. We still have a few jobs with regards to completing the dashboard, touching up with black on the window frames and finding parts to make the roller blinds work but she is coming along nicely!

With the weather looking good we decided to take her back to some of her old haunts in and around Orpington on Sunday 25th February. Prior to the run out we also took the opportunity to attach the builders badges to the front to see what it will look like - these will be applied properly prior to its first rally at Detling .

With former Roundabout driver and co-owner Richard Jones at the wheel 'Little Dennis' (3238 is obviously 'Big Dennis'!) is seen at its home base prior to its run out.

I love her!

One of my newest repaints

On my way home from KC this afternoon, I spotted some headlights coming at me, and I pulled off to shoot the train. Interestingly, the leader was a freshly repainted, flagless UP SD70ACe! I'm not going to lie, especially in contrast to the well worn look that so many of the flags are in, this is a welcome change.

Heya, been a while, just things going on. Anyway, here's a preview of my latest repaints. The repainted former Cleo on the right I've had done for a little while now, her hair is FINALLY on the way, should be another week. The Ghoulia head is my most recent, finished her two days ago. Just meant to be a random monster of sorts, on a CAM body. Both awaiting hair and real eyelashes. Will take pics and upload as soon as they're completed. Really happy with how they've turned out so far. I hope to be more active in both painting and photographing from now on :)

It appears that after 8 months of only having 1 repainted unit, the repaints are happening at a much quicker pace now. London Northwestern Railway class 350 no. 350267 is seen at Wolverton on a London bound service, it's first outing since repaint? 24th August

I've been told 350375 is due back from repaint within the next week, making that a total of 4 in new livery, compared to there being just 1 a week ago

Western Pacific caboose No 437 has received a fresh coat of paint and graphics, pictured at UP South Yard in Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 11, 1984. It was built by International Railway Car Co. for the WP in December 1955. The caboose would be retired in less than two months and donated to the city of Elko, Nevada, where it was placed on permanent display at 7th and Railroad Streets, coupled to WP GP9 No. 727.

Well the Bluebird of Middleton’s Selnec liveried Dart featured earlier didn’t enter service with Stagecoach vinyls over the Orange but has become one of the first Bluebird repaints and has entered service in this extremely nice and bright Stagecoach livery. It appears that recent repaints have not included the standard application of the Stagecoach livery as demonstrated by 33866.

The problem with the original Bridges branding was that the deckers were branding randomly across the batch mainly due to the fact the buses transferred from Glasgow to Aberdeen randomly so not all had been withdrawn from service in the Central belt at the time the branding came to be applied. This meant controllers couldnt easily remember which buses were branded and which were not and as such the branded buses ended up on other routes.

Care has been taken when applying the new red front branding for the 1 and 2 to group the buses together from 38218 upwards. However, this has gone a bit wrong now 38215 has been branded out of sequence but 38216 has now been generic branded. 38217 is due to return from repaint so will be interesting to see whether it has the red front or not.

38216 awaits time at the Blackdog on the Sunday Bridges 2.

Deen and her new "toys" :D

Pues este es mi segundo intento de repaint >__< se que no está perfecto, pero estoy muy contenta con el resultado ^^

Here’s my repainted Disney Shang doll. I’ve had him for over 10 years now with his hair all chopped off and stuff but only recently did I decide to repaint him and trim his hair.

I wanted to integrate him better into my collection but who knows lol.

This is my first repaint on a cheap clone head. I tried to give her a Superstar look. Yes, I need to practice a lot! XD

So earlier in the day, I was excited about the prospects of one of THE new CPKC repaints leading a westbound on the Gateway into afternoon sun and in the sun. This dirty, old Beaver is what I came away with.

Oh, well. It may not be pretty, but soon enough, we'll all be annoyed with the CPKC paint, and yearn for the "rainbow era" of the CPKC, so I may as well savor it while it's here.

So with that in mind, here's the CP 8707 and KCS 2019 dragging a manifest out of the west end of Knoche Yard in Kansas City, MO for head room, before shoving back in.

Snowmageddon (14" of snow fell on Topeka) put a damper on my 2025 railfanning, but this is officially my first train of the year!

I'm experimenting with repainting Monster High Dolls. They are really fun to paint!

Here’s my curvy Fashionista repaint and dye job lol.

I dyed her hair using red acrylic paint and tried to paint her to look more Asian cuz I felt the sculpt suited this more than a white person’s appearance lol.

Surprising things about this sculpt: it has sculpted bags under the eyes and it looks like a 1/6th scale head of the EAH Hunter head lol.

Its not a fantastic likeness, but it will tide me over until something better comes out.

Repainted Lothian 837 in the snow at West Granton on service 24 to Royal Infirmary H. 29th December 2017.

So the Modern Circle Ken sculpt has always had weird lips to me but the rest of his sculpt has really cute features like the drooped eye shape and big nose

Usually I tolerate how my face ups look on dolls but surprisingly I love how this guy turned out. Which is surprisingly cuz I like the factory look too but this looks so much better to me.

Anyway, I tried to make him look more Asian and tried to give his sculpt a bit more depth with shading and stuff, but I also wanted to make him look stylised so it’s a bit of a mix of my usual art style lol.

WSOR's trains in and out of Chicago normally traverse Metra territory east of Fox Lake, Illinois, in the overnight hours to avoid conflicts. Power problems the night before with the outbound train from Chicago caused the train to be parked at Rondout and rescue power dispatched from Janesville to get the train home. Freshly repainted WAMX 4181 leads the trains west across Metra territory and back towards home rails in a few miles.

The lead unit formerly wore BN green paint and was released from its makeover at the railroad's Horicon paint shop about a week ago.
