I got some clear weather this afternoon! It's been raining almost non-stop (or it's been terribly muggy) the past few weeks. I got so bored not being able to paint!
Anyways, here's a repaint of the create-a-monster insect girl. I really didn't like her sculpt, it's round with huge eyes and I prefer bigger lips, but I thought about a cute OC I made when I was coming up with my new screen name, Amber Honey, which was a bee girl similar to this ^^ (no cool glasses, though) which got me motivated. I then cut this wig to show off her face and slipped her on a temporary body.
My bf has expressed a sincere admiration for this particular custom xD I like it quite a lot, too <3

Since the end of January I've been working on repaints of Gainsborough's six E400 MMCs and eight ALX400 Tridents, which have been wrapped up with an AI list for Gainsborough Phase 3 and can be downloaded and enjoyed for free. All you need is a FellowsFilm account (and OMSI, of course).
10900 is just on its way into Lincoln here, about to skirt its way around West Common after taking the roundabout in what you might call a lively fashion. As with its IRL counterpart, the InterConnect name is missing from the front panel, with a larger Stagecoach logo instead.
Repaint nearly finished! I just have to make templates for the wallpaper on the top floor before I bash the roof on properly. Right now it's just balanced loosely on top. I spent quite a bit of time last night bashing the walls into the floor with a tent peg. I also need to pop in the front door.

British Airways continues the very slow process of repainting their entire fleet with an updated version of their almost 30 year old Project Utopia livery which introduced the World Tails. The current livery uses a more brighter Brilliant White colour scheme featuring their 'To fly. To serve.' crest adorned on the fuselage.
The narrow-body fleet has been swift in gaining the refreshed colours, the wide-body fleet has been particularly slow... The revised colours were introduced in mid-2013 which coincided with the introduction of their first Airbus A380s and Boeing 787s. Airbus A320s alongside new Boeing 777-300ERs also featured the new colours as standard following 2013.
Since then, there are still a few wide-body aircraft that have still yet to be treated and looking decidedly shabby, even the first aircraft to carry the post-2013 colours are looking slightly worse for wear. The Boeing 777 repainting programme has probably dragged on the most, with a number of examples still yet to feature the crest and a yellow-ish tint to their white livery.
Very recently, British Airways have made a start on repainting their existing Boeing 777-300ER fleet which at the time all examples featured the same livery when they rolled-off the production line at Boeing's Everett factory. The first repaint goes to G-STBG, one of the post-2013 livery changes to be such treated. What is noticeable with the recent repaints to the wide-body fleet has been the spacing between the British Airways typeface and crest which there is a larger gap, whilst the font of the registration is smaller.
Unrelated to the repaints, a noticeable modification to the earliest Boeing 777-300ERs within British Airways has been the removal of the tail skid.
Currently, British Airways operates 59 Boeing 777s, which includes 43 Boeing 777-200ERs and 16 Boeing 777-300ERs. British Airways have 18 Boeing 777-9s on-order.
Sierra Tango Bravo Golf is one of 16 Boeing 777-300ERs operated by British Airways, delivered new to the flag-carrier on 13th September 2013, leased from BBAM since October 2013 and she is powered by 2 General Electric GE90-115B engines.

I'm thinking about using the ikea jules chair for kitchen chairs. I bought one and repainted the seat to better match our existing dark grey laminate table. I looked and could not find a solid color polyurethane spray paint. I sprayed it with a regular enamel paint, let it dry for a week, and then sprayed a layer of clear matte polyurethane over it. It came out OK, but it is a little uneven and has a rough surface. Can anyone suggest a better method of painting this kind of chair so it will look good and be reasonably durable?
