Nouveau repaint sur une Monster High Abbey Bominable.
C'est plutôt une reprise de mon tout premier repaint qui datait de quelques années mais que j'aimais bien et que j'ai retravaillé ;)

After cutting out her teeth, her repainting proces could begin.
This was my first layer. With the mattel head there would have already been five layers prior to this stage to match the skintone with chalk to the body.
Now it already matched I could immediately start on the eyes, lips, eyebrows, shading, blushing.
Now normally I have a certain method of repainting. I use watercolor pencils from Faber Castell and a bit of chalk, which works great on soft vinyl.
As this head at this stage turned into hard vinyl I had to change techniques.
I think the surface was kind of similar in texture to a resin doll head now. When I did the face up on my msd's I found out I couldn't use my water color pencils the way I was used to.
On the soft vinyl heads you can actually draw. Now when I did that the result looked chalky, so I faded the harsh lines with a small chalk brush.
I also used a lot more chalk, I prefer Schmincke. Like with my former Punzie's I used the pencils to make the eye shadow. Now I used chalk.
The upside to this texture is that it will be able to hold a lot more color before you have to spray another layer of msc.
You can keep continuing to build up the colors a lot longer.
At this stage I only sprayed the msc because I wanted to seal in this results because I really liked the base already and I was afraid to mess it up.
More tomorrow :)
She might be my favorite repaint yet <3

I am very bad at doing repaints on the eyes and lips, I was so nervous when doing this one, the result was not as desired, but I left it, I didn´t want to ruin his eyes. I wanted to give him a bad boy look, but it looks the opposite! lol!

just a quick handy snap but there is no light here anyway. My first repaint from the wonderful and amazingly talented Idrusa (Patrizia) and she did her exactly like I wanted her! She has the opposite screening from Mad Love Rayna and I wanted her to be her dark sister; now I only have to find a fitting name for her.
I think she is a gypsy princess...
Monster high repaint draculaura
sadly, you cant see the little details, but she has tiny tiny white butterflies flying up her legs and arm.
looks like white discoloration from here, but its not :S
My latest Abbey repaint, I love how her expression turned out!

Monster HIgh repaint [SOLD]
Her outfit is custom made and OOAK.
She wears removable hat, stockings, sleeves, original MH shoes (repainted) and non-removable dress.
IT Homme, my repaint. I like repainting the boys, but haven't got around to photographing most of them.
Next, I outline the eye in black.
As you can see, I do not fully outline the eye... but if you want to, you can.
I got around to detailing the little record player from the doll lot that sarahttaylor got for my birthday since it was one of the items I really wanted lol.
The sculpt itself was a bit unrefined so things like the speaker looks off but I definitely think it looks better than just a solid one piece lol.
a little nomad that's been waiting for quite some time to be photographed.
I really love the Lagoona mold. I wish she came in more colors :)
