Reflection shot. Building from my trip to New York last summer. It has always been one of my favorite pictures!
...and in the window.
I really like how this picture turned out. I just took this one shot quickly before leaving. It's SOOC .
And yes, I did have a 32.oz Outrageous Raspberry smoothie with orange sherbet. I would have licked the cup afterward too it was that good.
Pretty much my weakness and guilty indulgence. I'm pretty sure I'd marry first the person that figures out how to make them the same way at home.
I was taking some reflection shots in the puddles on the street outside my house. My kids were the lookouts for cars coming. My girls ran over and started gathering these magnolia petals that had fallen from our neighbors tree. They suggested that we put them in the puddle. I like it!! : )
This would be a Christmas lights shot, but it's more of a reflection shot since there aren't actually any trees in this lobby.
I have been down with the flu this past week, but really wanted to get out and take a reflection shot. I finally wandered into my backyard and ... went with the low hanging fruit.
I tried to angle this shot to include the small yellow sunburst at the bottom, and then flipped this reflection in my pool upside down, added contrast, vibrancy and saturation.
Loads of reflection shots can be captured here.. I simply love it..

I wandered down to the lake wondering if I'd get some reflection shots .... but the lake was buried under copious amounts of ice and snow!
Seeing as my camera isn´t working I´m going through older images, the ones I have here in Edinburgh with me at any rate ;-) As you can see I´ve always been a sucker for refelctions!!
Takenat Rydal Water yesterday beautiful colours were reflected on the water and to add some intrest and beauty to another water reflections shot a passing swan
The intention of this photo was to get a nature reflection shot in the water. I considered a small body of water but wanted something much larger. I took reference from Duchemin getting closer to the subject. This water was actually a pool cover but I wanted to get close enough to not be able to actually see it. I really enjoy the outcome and how the water is rippling just a bit in the wind. I edited the contrast and saturation.
The still and warm conditions were very conducive to reflection shots along this stretch of the canal
..at least I think so. Can't remember if it was for Chemical/milk/oil? I thought It was shiny enough for a reflection shot, but nevermind.

Like all my reflection shots, there is NO Photoshop manipulation, just the usual cropping and contrast/saturation balancing.
This turtle was in the perfect spot to capture a decent reflection shot (no snakes this time, I checked). I am not 100% positive about the ID of this guy. He lacks the red on his head of the Red-eared Slider (Trachemys Scripta Elegans) but his shell is more doomed and that would indicate a Red-eared Slider. But he has the red in the shell and the eyes are the color of your typical Painted Turtle (Chrysemys Picta). Also lacks some of the coloring on the neck of the Painted Turtle. Not real good at reptial ID, but it is one of those two.
So I haven't done a 'sunglasses' reflection shot yet...and it HAD to be done. Bruce and I were enjoying a lovely evening at the Bye and Bye (scene of our first date) and the most douche-tastic guy was sitting at the table next to us. Super-drunk, beyond rude and stupid - we decided he was prince of the hipster-doofuses, all around bad news (don't even get me started). He and his posse left (finally!) and darn, he left his rayban aviators. So I put them to good use and now they are Bruce's (and yes, we disinfected them.)
A quickly grabbed STS reflection shot from a nearby mountaintop (for the Shooting Through Sunglasses group 8^) @ sunset.
What seemed like an endless number of chupitos, they were presented on a wooden stick, with a hinge at the bottom...they disappeared shortly after.
Another inverted reflection shot.
