I put a line of water-based marker on the bottom of the paper, put the bottom edge of paper in water, and let the water soak up into the paper overnight. Worked pretty well, even though I was using cheap bond paper.
This priest was about to put on some black sunglasses when i was to take my shot, but when I explained i would do it without the flash he agreed to keep the shades off. I like the way the light enteres the stone church here and hits bothe the processional cross and his eyes and head,

If the FT are reporting* ’Brakes put on UK shale gas revolution’, how are investors going to feel? This admission is a big win. It never was viable. It always was a desperate scrabble to maintain governmental private profiteering. Old school fossil fuel habits, strongly influenced by the fossil fuel lobbyists which hold court and ear within our governance. An institutionalised belief that renewables could never meet our needs... or simply not profit them, as they hold all the wrong investment portfolios. Old fashioned governance from a bygone era of fossil fuel energy independence and pollution: where did the North Sea energy independence and profits go?
After witnessing, listening to, and being part of the anti-shale gas voice; as an investor would you now back shale gas UK? Projecting forward our voice's were only ever going to get stronger, larger in numbers. As it would have been on everyone’s back door. The post environmental, health damage, science and reports coming out of America are unequivocal.
We only have two radioactive waste water treatment plants in the UK- the cost of scale up? The cost of strict regulation? The industrialisation of the 'remaining' rural Britain? The cost of pollution, and sub-sequential litigation?
The only way shale gas exploitation was ever going to be viable was at scale, Britain is not America; it all goes to show how naively business minded our governance is. Let’s hope they cut their loses, see sense and go all out for renewables. Combined renewables where community profit first, on an assisted national scale. As when you and yours benefit, the resistance to renewables will drop away. No longer seen as unsightly, or disproportionally sited on your doorstep.
A new political era of climate change governance and private investment needs to sweep in, pulling out of fossil fuel investments and at last backing the real deal, mixed combined community benefiting renewables.
In the very real new era of political governance of global warming, with its potentially devastating consequences, it can't come to soon.
