So Aurora invited me to Jakira's club. She put us on the guest list and we got into the VIP areas, that was awesome. I got to meet Ed Lover from Yo MTV Raps it was awesome. By the end of the night we walked from 52nd Street to 44th, took these pictures and this awesome guy named Tony on an 8 person bike gave us a ride on his hilarious bike all the way back to 51st street where I had parked my car. I drove aurora home before heading to Brooklyn and it was just an awesome night. Woo hoo

He put the turkey fat on top of the fridge, the very same fat that I ended up spilling down the front of my dress. In all other respects, he was the #1 Guest -- so I really didn't mind. But I had to milk it a little.
Put 3 oz (75g) butter, 4.5 tablespoons water and 4 and a half oz (108g) sugar into a pan and heat gently until the sugar and butter melt. bring to the boil and then immediately pour into the sugar and cocoa, stirring rapidly.
(The reason the measurements are so odd is that I make 1.5 times the recipe icing as i like lots...)
I took this photo in an attempt to put an original spin on one of the examples I found for this week, and did a blue to green progression using paint on a plastic fork and canvas. I wanted it to look like the the color was sort of flung off of the fork.
To take this I painted the prongs of the fork and then the canvas in an abstract fashion with the color order matching up. Then I set it up outside in the shade so there wouldn't be any distracting shadows.
For editing, I played with the exposure, vibrance, clarity and crop settings.

Put some color in the hair. It's not real, it's just a clip. I'm not hardcore enough to actually dye my hair because of previous horrible experiences. I got a blonde and purple one. :]
