Pennan in the north of Scotland is put out constantly to the tides of the sea. In my visit in early autumn it meant the weather still humanly, the sea remained relatively quiet. I ask myself how it looks fine here if sometimes a storm gathers.....

Pennan im Norden Schottlands ist ständig den Gezeiten des Meeres ausgesetzt. Bei meinem Besuch im Frühherbst meinte es das Wetter noch human, die See blieb verhältnismäßig ruhig. Ich frage mich, wie es hier wohl aussieht wenn mal ein Sturm aufzieht.....

I put fresh seed out on top of the one inch of freezing rain to make it easier for the birds to reach the seed. However, the FOSP chose to dig the seed out with his huge claws. He has a piece of cracked corn in his beak with a bit of ice on it. He also has ice crystals on his tail and feathers. FOSPs are one of my favorite Winter visators.

Due to the very cold temperatures and the snow this opossum was looking for a hand out, I put some cat food out then he/she went on there way.

We put the clocks ahead tonight, a step in the right direction!

This old weathered, wooden barn appeared to be abandoned.

Missing were a few glass window panes and one of the upper barn doors was also missing the framed edge.

Additionally, there did not appear to be a path shoveled out in the snow, leading me to believe, this old barn has possible been put out, and / or left out to pasture.

Xenia Rubinos put on one of my favorite performances at Pitchfork Music Festival, emerging first on the stage wrapped in bubble wrap and then trailing a ribbon of blood. It was quite profound. She really has a passion especially for sticking up for those who are being mistreated. I also randomly met her after her set and she was quite nice. I didn't have my camera out because it was pouring but it was still nice to be able to tell her how much I enjoyed her set.

Eastbound freight just out of Trinidad after sunset. Passing the 1st set of blades after coming out of the CTC that governed movements between Raton and Trinidad. Almost gave up on this set and started back to Denver where we were living at the time, but stuck it out. This is probably the lowest light that I ever put K25 through.
