On the front panel of the car there is a makers transfer(decal), rather faded after 115 years, for the "Progress Cycle Works".
WIP Baby's Got A Brand New Big Bag last night at knit night. Green and Yellow for Project Spectrum. I am LOVING this knit, very fast, very sturdy and supremely fun colors for summer. Original Lopi.
This will be my "drag everything to the park in one bag" bag.

Remember the days when the garbage truck had a driver, and six dudes hanging off different points? I do. I remember I thought they were so cool-- I wanted to be a garbage man, so I could hang off the sides of a moving truck. My dad talked me out of it.
It used to take seven dudes, and they had to be relatively engaged. Today, it takes one guy, and he can be on his cell phone (as pictured).

I am working on a tutorial from red pepper quilts using farmers market from Sandi Henderson, love the look of the quilt!

Testing, testing, testing... The sans I'm gonna make for sure and I would love to make also a slab serif or a semi slab serif (like Museo). Which one do you think is better? Or should I do both?

The current City Hall building is a near-50-year-old structure that has served the city well but, in its current state, is functionally obsolete. Built in 1969, the current City Hall requires major renovations that are complicated by the presence of friable asbestos and the way the electrical and mechanical systems were installed.
On October 3, 2017, Virginia Beach city council unanimously approved a resolution to proceed with the design of a new city hall building. The new three-story structure adjacent to the current city hall, between Buildings 1 and 2, is under construction and progressing well.

This piece in Conte crayon represents the contrast between progress with and without understanding which is so critical in todays world. A steam locomotive billows smoke from its coal fire destroying the world while the bicycle represents a simple and pure transportation mode. The nude female is unburdened by prior understanding but instead seeks to understand the choices put before her. This is representitive of both the scientist and the child, with natural curiosity and unburdened opinion which is a far departure from the rest of the world who are driven by greed at the expense of the greater good.
I did a swap with Lisa at www.flickr.com/photos/moonfaires16/ and received a CD with vintage images and it was wrapped in this wonderful tissue paper. I just had to decoupaged it onto this little shaddow box.....and I love it!! Now to fill it.....
