Cherry blossom tree by using polystyrene board, paper clay, stone powder clay, wires, and the purple colour acrylic.
Progress continues on the farmhouse renovation as we sort out what to keep and what to toss (including a mattress box spring made in 1945) and start to imagine the remodeling projects.

Mockup in progress - Making sure that I know my plan of attack before I mess up any of my precious fabric <3.
I am really proud of this because most of the pattern pieces were draped or drafted by hand, except for the corset.
The pink tu-tu is a stand in, until I make a white one.
Remember the days when the garbage truck had a driver, and six dudes hanging off different points? I do. I remember I thought they were so cool-- I wanted to be a garbage man, so I could hang off the sides of a moving truck. My dad talked me out of it.
It used to take seven dudes, and they had to be relatively engaged. Today, it takes one guy, and he can be on his cell phone (as pictured).
This picture chronicles a complete turnaround in the way I live, ...the way I eat, my activity, level, ...my life philosophies. If I can do this after back surgery, you have no excuse. Keep pressing play.
