My pop fabric arrived yesterday so now I'm really ready to start. My design wall is a minky background provided by the recipient of this quilt. Baby Anne, welcome to the world.
My grandfather owned a new one of these back in 1958. I cannot get over how little this car has dated in the past 50 years. still a joy to behold!
Slow progress, despite being on CV19 lockdown, on the 1/48 Blenheim. The interior is coming along though.
The interior eau de nil green shade is a homemade mix, and dry brushed with Tamiya sky to bring out the highlights. Now it's all had a coat of gloss varnish once that's dry I'll add a dark wash.
still thinkin of goin back and makin the eye in this one "realistic"... think it would bring a little something to it ;)

The worst closet in our place - the one where the boxes that have moved more than once are - is now feeling the heat of my laser eyes. "You! Why do I still have you?"
Ahhh, letting go is good.
p.s. fyi, Magic: The Gathering players, this is where my soon to be sold collection of cards was. (Revised to Prophecy mostly, with some Invasion, Planeshift, & Unlimited and just a few Betas).

PA, Harrisburg PA, Progress Grille.
Progress Grilel located along Walnut Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The neon! The angles! The starburst! Sadly the restaurant building is so remodeled that it looks nothing like you would expect for this great sign.
Making good progress on your sewing machine cover, partner! I hope you like it. I'm excited that it came out as my mind imagined it (so far). But I want to quilt it now before I finish assembling it. Any thoughts/suggestions for how to quilt it? Do you have a thread preference? (Pic includes a pink/purplish/orange variegated thread, or solid pink or solid gray). Any suggestions are welcome!
Cathay Pacific has very cool in-flight entertainment. Before liftoff, we were treated to this nifty progress screen; after we reached cruising altitude, we could also play games, watch a huge selection of movies or TV shows, and listen to "radio" or another giant selection of CDs (from which we could make our own playlists). This all came in very handy when I found myself unable to sleep on the 14-hour flight.
