Simply cross the river into Canada and all of a sudden there are "OOOT", "ABOOOT", "EH", and poutine on the menus. Absolutely delightful. I love Canada!
Poutine is a fine Canadian tradition: Chips with gravy and cheese curds. It is comfortingly stodgy and perfect for a cold day when I need to work quickly and cover a lot of ground.
The best poutine is from Montreal, but I've never been there, and I think the stuff from Zakko's Deli is just delicious. More importantly, it is just around the corner from City Hall, where we have several cars I need to look after.
augies authentic montreal smoke meat pop-up restaurant today at Beauty's Bagels in Oakland.
Poutine: Double fried Kennebec potatoes with Oakdale Cheese company cheese curds, St Hubert Poutine gravy and smoke meat.

43/365 We hosted an Olympics Opening Ceremonies party last night where everyone had to pick a county & bring a food representing that country. Canada brought us some yummy poutine, french fries topped with cheese curds & gravy.

This was Fred's. I had a salad to start.
haha... good luck there.. make sure a toilet is closeby for the rest of the night.
I liked Reala. Online reviews and product website indicate Reala is premium delivery good colour, fine grain and sharpness. It's not the greatest and won't produce special shots but is the best at balancing all aspects of film.
I've tried Kodak Portra Vivd Colour and found it too saturated. I've tried Kodak Portra Natural Colour and found it abit grainy. I've tried Kodak Max 400 and found it lacking in highlights, grain and sharpness. I think my favourite would still be Portra NC160. But it's not like I'm an expert or anything.
Melted Cheddar cheese + gravy + fries does not equal Poutine, people!
I expected as much but felt like ordering it anyway just so I could say I had "Poutine" in Hong Kong. I understand cheese curds are difficult to source (hell, they're difficult to find here in Portland) but at least remove the gravy and call them disco fries or use a white cheese instead.
