Finally got around posting these in here. It was awesome to do some gig photography a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed every minute of it. For a little more info go check my blog lostinavision.weebly.com and also check out my facebook page where you'll also find more photos from the gig: www.facebook.com/lostinavision

I cook every night because I believe it's one of the best things I can do for our health. Last night, I noticed the red glow of the burner under the wok, and the steam rising from the vibrant green spinach.

The posting of the first female Deputy Superintendent of Police posted in Lyari is welcome. We're proud of you Manisha

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ms. Manisha visited Lyari’s Girls Cafe. Ms. Manisha addressed the informative session at Lyari Girls Cafe. On this occasion, she talked about the problems of women and assured them of all possible protection.

In her statement, she appreciated the work of Lyari’s Girls Cafe, an organization dedicated to empowering girls, women, and pledged to continue all possible cooperation.

Posting this photo was more for fun than anything else. I'll be going into the school board today to sign my first teaching contract!!!!!!! One week ago today I got the call that I have been accepted for a teaching position.... ME.... and the news still hasn't sunk in.

I took this picture last December in preparation of my teaching portfolio. Now I can take this name plate and books, and put it to good use! So happy!

Since I've been back from my trip, I have been a bit busy with my little cousin, who's visiting from Portugal. Please be patient while I'm still going through all your photos... I just don't want to rush through them as I always enjoy looking at everyone's work.

One of Albir’s top attractions is the short walk from the Playa de Racó (“beach corner”) waterfront to El Faro (the lighthouse) in the Parque Natural de la Serra Gelada.

Posting a few more pics before i leave for San Diego tomorrow to be with my family and my Dad who is ill.

In this group upload are the faces of some of the people who made our trip special. They treated us better than family! I hope we can reciprocate one day.

The museum at the Kennesaw National Battlefield Park contains many items that both the Confederate and Union armies used. The soldiers did not carry many items with them because it was a burden but those in charge had to have some necessary items handy in order to make sure everything is going how it is planned. One of such items is the compass. The compass in the picture above belonged to Lieutenant James H. Connelly (information at the Museum). It is made of copper and is about two or three feet tall. The compass also has three legs on which it stands and these legs can be placed together for easy carrying while on the run or on the move. Even though the position of the Kennesaw Mountain was very useful for the armies to tell which way is north, the compass was very useful when the armies had to travel. The Union army came from the North and had to use this navigational tool in order to reach the Kennesaw Mountain and later Atlanta.

Posting this one a day late. It has been a crazy week at work.

Strobist info: the diffused off camera flash was sitting in a cold shoe mount to the left of frame. It was set at 1/8 power and 35mm. I shot the flash into the cucumber to create a glow.

Posting Leon's photo got me back into the Flickr posting mood again. Returned to my Boston carriage ride to find three more shots to upload.

The driveway to this house is posted as No Tresspassing so I had to shoot quickly and then leave. Would love to explore this house as it seems like it would have been quite large and luxurious for its time.
