Not usually a wildlife photographer me, but can't resist posting this heron. I see it regularly on my cycle route to work down the canal. This wasn't taken with a zoom, I was really close, just before it swooped off into the mist.

for you. This is from a few months ago, but still good./
I'd first off like to start with this: _I do not support the act of
graffiti_. It's illegal, yo. But, while stopped at a random street in
Florence, I happened to see my initials in nice white letters on the
side of the wall. Since the graffiti was already there, and they
happened to be my _exact_ initials, I figured I might as well take a
picture of with it. So I did. I'm sure the folks who took my photo must
have thought I did it myself. I didn't, I swear. Besides, anyone who
knows me knows I would have totally drawn a slug instead!
Sorry I couldn't get any cool Florence land marks in the shot (or
anything besides a wall), but since I did not choose where to put the
graffiti, I am the mercy of the spray-painter. I did manage to get a
slightly legible Italian sign in the picture, though. So surely, that
must count for something. Not sure what it says; probably "don't
graffiti these walls!".
Speaking of, if you're a fan of graffiti, it's everywhere in Italy and
Spain. I remember driving down one road where it's covered in it. It's
like the video game Jet Grind Radio!

Такой вопрос я задал на facebook в Интернациональном клубе тестировщиков, но формат обмена мнений в facebook, видимо, не очень удобен для подобной дискуссии. Я ее там начал, но потом перевел сюда. Кому небезынтересно, предлагаю продолжить ...
Наверное, имеет смысл добавить. Предлагаю желающим высказаться, предложить те или иные метрики. Я постараюсь все это собрать и опубликовать в блоге (вот сочинил себе блог:) insectfinder.blogspot.com)
В настоящее время все инциденты - так у нас называют обращение пользователей в службу поддержки и внедрения - регистрируются в mantis. До этого копилась база на MSAccess. Обработанные инциденты могут стать работой по исправлению ошибки, работой по реализации запроса пользователя (доработка или что-то новое). Все эти работы помещаются в систему управления работами (самописная система на базе корпоративной платформы). Тестировщики также регистрируют найденные ошибки в системе управления работами. Также ошибки могут быть обнаружены аналитиками-внедренцами, а также при приемке выполненных работ. Еще источник - это сообщения, приходящие по почте (самодиагностика, обработки исключений). Обычно их обрабатывает дежурный программист и обычно пишет работы по устранению ошибки.
Работы в системе управления работами имеют флаги: Проект, Направление деятельности, Тип работы, Приоритетность + есть еще принятые шаблоны сообщений, позволяющие облегчить контекстный поиск.
В настоящее время метрика "состояние текущего (рекомендованного) релиза" определяется следующим образом:
- ночной прогон автоматических тестов
- анализ всех падений
- если некритично - состояние принимается удовлетворительным
и
метрика "состояние кандидат-релиза"
- ночной прогон автоматических тестов
- анализ всех падений
- тенденция к уменьшению ошибок
- ошибки некритичные (есть обходные пути, например, застарелые ошибки, ошибки usability ...)

I am posting a portion of my vinatge patch collection on eBay. None of the patches are new reproductions; they are all original. Most of them, if not all, are in unused condition. The majority of my patches are from the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's. The majority are from the 1970's. A very small amount may be from the 1950's or earlier. A small amount from the 1960's and 1980's. There are very few, if any, from the 1990's. There is a 99% chance each patch was produced 15 or more years ago. Most of the patches are affiliated with government, security, shooting, boy scouts, Chicago, Illinois, and Cook County.
Please use photos to judge approximate size and condition. Look closely to see if the patch is a sew-on or iron-on. If you have any questions, concerns or comments please send me a message prior to bidding.
