Still posting photos from the trip back in October to Rocky Mountain National Park. These were around 6 p.m. local time.
I love the clouds flowing down along the outline of the clouds.
posting some new/old pix of fabian in honor of the fact that she'll be coming home soon!
her awesome creator, gina, was kind enough to redo her faceup to try to get her "skin" back to its original tan color... she'd kinda gotten pasty white in the sealing process!
can't wait to have her home again!
a little explantaiton here.... up until about a 1 1/2 years ago I had not been able to stick to an exercise program for any length of time. Then I got an asthma inhaler to use before exercise and I started running. I still struggle with breathing when I exercise due to allergies and asthma, and my weight is still not where I want it - but I've made a lot of progress in the past year. I started to backslide the past few months with eating too many carbs and didn't like what I saw on the scale - so I decided to give myself a goal to train for. The ruckus race is a 4 mile race with mud and obstacles (I didn't make the log - took that from the ruckus website.) I have a month to train for this fun and intense challenge - so I'll be hitting the dip machine and others to build arm and core strength in addition to intensifying my cardio work. I'm not looking to win the Ruckus - I know that's not realistic my goal is to have fun, to finish, and to complete as many of the obstacles as I can - hopefully all of them. I've been posting most of my paintings to oregonpainter.tv or chrisspagani.com but I thought it would be fun to have one here. It's been a while... and coincidentally, this is also the first pastel painting I've done for over a year. And to think, I used to be known for my pastels!

I came upon a distraught artist's manikin on the Main St. bridge a few weeks ago. I tried talking him down and telling him how much he had to live for, but unfortunately it was not meant to be. Just moments after capturing this image, he jumped. RIP.

#TP. Look for abstract shapes and designs today. Make a photo of a subject everyone has seen that's not easily recognizable.
