Amie is showing off her new necklace.
(she is my daughter Esther's friend)
She is such a beautiful girl!
This is my friend, Kristel. I asked her to pose for reference photos to be used in an oil painting I'm planning. It's a contemporary or modern madonna, in this case a symbol of natural healing.. The title will be "Aloe Maria" (Our Lady of the Aloes).
Kristel has a wonderfully serene & pleasant face -- I think she's a perfect model for today's madonna.
Come on guys! Haven't you been told staring is not polite?
Or were they posing for the photograph? I'll never know.

In a dimly lit, intimate setting, two young girls pose for a photo — one smiling playfully in a dark coat, the other looking solemn in a fluffy white jacket. Behind them, a brightly labeled soda bottle and a glass stand out against the black background, creating a candid, almost cinematic contrast between childhood innocence and moody lighting.
