This was the first time I've photographed a praying mantis. He wasn't afraid of me at all, until I poked his wings. He flew off in a hurry then.

I quite like the pose for this photo, but the photo itself is certainly not one of my best. Still I felt like putting it up anyway as it is a nice capture.
