My grandfather recently passed away at the age of 98.
He was a hero to me. He fought in WWII, and upon return started a steak house in Ca, had his own construction business, road paving business, and who knows what else, before starting a very successful Mexican Foods business.
A true entrepreneur.
Husband of 70 years to his wife, and great grandfather.
His name is Tony Garcia.
She was bored & we just finished watching a food challenge on the food network. SHe took it as a challenge to create a sculpture using the exercise ball, her halloween costume and a stuffed panda. Yeah, cabin fever has set.

This little raptor posed very nicely for me, but I'm still kicking myself for missing the flight shot. I was parked in the middle of the main road through Cherry Creek State Park, so I was concerned about traffic and took my eye away from the viewfinder to look in the rear view mirror to see if cars were approaching. When I looked back in the viewfinder, it was flying straight at me. I was too late to grab focus on what would have been a great flight shot. Oh well...

Out for a windy, snowy, hailed on and sunshiny ride this afternoon! (Sunday) 42 miles around the edge of Sheffield and into the Peak District. Lovely stuff!!

He was hanging out on the handle of my barbecue grill and didn’t want to leave. When I picked him up to move him, he didn’t want to leave my hand.
This girl was sitting on a bench in Dong Men,SZ and full aware that II was taking photos of here as I was like 10 feet away with my 200 lens right in here face, But she handled it well and stood here ground.
I took at least 20 shots and this was my fave due to the dark background and her glowing face.
We were invited to a wedding up by Lake Erie, so we decided to turn the weekend into a mini vacation. We left on Friday and drove through Lakeside, East Harbor State Park, with marinas all along the shore as we traveled to Marblehead, Ohio. We got us a room at a really nice hotel called the Lighthouse Resort, which had a great view of the lake and was close to the Marblehead lighthouse. East Harbor State Park is located on the shores of Lake Erie and has many types of outdoor recreation; including boating, fishing, swimming, picnicking and camping, plus nature enthusiasts can enjoy the abundance of waterfowl, shorebirds, and deer all found in the park's scenic wetlands.
