We had a pool day one sunday :) I ran the sprinkler and I put up this small pool. Even though this pool was small the kids had a lot of fun in it.

Dad brought the lift down and said "Have you ever been in one of these? They're pretty neat. Come on in and I'll show you how it works". We went up and I asked him if he wanted to pose for a few shots.

Here's the world-wide explorers, Frank and Babs: this was week Quebec, Canada-- a few weeks later they went China and are there now. Frank has recovered from a intestinal problem he got while there and hopefully Barbara has by now too. Even getting a VISA from the Chinese embassy Frank's temperature was checked from a few feet away, and while in China they are checked on a regular basis. China is very serious about preventing Swine Flu from getting away from them.

Are those tevas? Yes they are! We were hiking in sandals down the Bright Angel trail in the Grand Canyon.

she was feeling a bit left out considering the new girl was getting all of the attention this afternoon....so...."I want my picture taken too, you know...I'm pretty...see how pretty I am...and I can pose...see !!!"

This will probably be the one and only picture I get of our cats sitting still together.

Canon EOS 400D, Sigma AF 70 - 300 mm APO DG Macro

Conrad, Tike, and Kane all posing for a picture I later gave to their mom. They are something else!

I wanted a general outline of a pose I want to use later so I did a really quick sketch of it.

Visiting our local blue heron the other day, I caught this one fly overhead to its usual wading pond, and then was able to get close enough for a good profile.
