I started to digitize a pose doll back in time, to make machine embroidery design out of it. Not for doll clothes because of the big-ness and high detail, but maybe for other stuff.. human sized stuff that is. It simply has to be big or it will just jam the sewing machine.
Found the unfinished file and I decided to start again.
I traced a photo I took of my own pose doll and once I traced her beautiful face I stopped because she has the southern belle style going on.
Now as I am back again, I printed the file and did pencil drawing and gave her a 60's hair style instead.
What do you think? Do you think the hair looks ok?
The "stripes" are for my own reference as to put the stitch direction for the embroidery design.

Bob took this picture, and it's a good one. Norton showing his stuff on the beach in Yachats. His first trip to the ocean. Day one he got kind of pounced on by a much bigger labrador retriever. Day two was beautiful, and Norton ran a lot on the sand. No wind on Day two...much better for dogs with big ears!
This is not her finished outfit. The skirt was supposed to be a dress, but it didn't fit :(
So now I need to start over, but I didn't want to wait making pictures of her. With the weather we have lately we run out of daylight very fast.

I'm also very disappointed her eyes photograph so dark because I really like these eyes when I look at her.
I should find my 'real' camera and see wether it is because of my mobile photographing skills or just the eyes.
While at Arte Museum in Vegas, I caught this young lady posing for a photo being taken by her companion. You can even see the shadow of her companion head near the floor. I like her stylish pose and her mirror image.
I had read of some problems with the kdf centaur body and it's pose ability, so was very glad to discover that he is a wonderful poser! He has not been modded in any way from company default- though I find his resin tail quite heavy, so he has a custom fiber tail :)

This was a fun day. I got all dressed up, and had no where to go. It was rainy... Just me and the sis were home. Went and got some pictures developed.... Then did a shoot. Sort of. Oh the lazy days of summer. We complain that we have no spare time, but what do we do when we have spare time? Nothing. And that's exactly the point. Isn't it wonderful to do nothing?
