Long time no upload from me, sorry about that.
This one is actually my first real posing stranger, albeit involuntarily. We were downtown, I was doing my street thing, when he noticed me taking a photo of him approaching. He then stopped, started talking to me, but instead of the multiple times encountered "why did you just take a picture of me!?" he said "Come on! Take my picture!" and posed. :)
It was unexpected and me being still a bit of a shy guy I did a rather quick shot, without telling him much about where to pose or trying multiple times to get the shot just right. To top it off, I had our old A300 with the 18-55 kit lens, so the aperture is not as low as it could have been with my preferred f/1.8.
Long story short, I made the best out of it and am happy (for now) with the result. :)
Team members have some discussion about how to pose to showoff the diapers their team has worn during the opening ceremonies of the 2013 Grand Teton Relays in Ashton Idaho. The Relay is a 24 to 32 hour, 180 mile race from Ashton Idaho to Grand Teton Village, Wyoming across the areas mountains and valleys including the Tetons and Jackson Hole. We had another Edmonton Flickr Model meet today! It was awesome!!! I got soo many keepers I don't know where to start... So I'll upload my favorite weird/kooky one first.
I wanted tell a story with this shot. I wanted to try to re-create all the things you are NOT supposed to do when you take a picture.
Things like having a photographer that is being a total creeper, a model with a cheesy pose, hair over the eyes, all that!! I laughed so hard when I saw Sandy's expression!!
I couldn't have asked for a better result!! All feedback and comments are greatly appreciated!! I'll be making the rounds to check out all your stuff soon!!
