…that if Harry Potter were a real person, he'd turn 28 today (it says somewhere that his birthday was on July 31st, 1980). Happy birthday Harry! So, I just whipped this together using a card from a set of HP playing cards I've had on my bookshelf for ages upon ages. After, I added the title, monochromed and then changed a few other things. It wasn't difficult.

Anyway, I think he's such a sweetheart! You all know how I feel about Harry Potter!<3 Just look at his face...

P.S. I'll fix the pixelization later lol

This sign really makes me laugh.

We were walking along the LA River bike path, from one end of the Frogtown Artwalk to the other, when a car began to tentatively pull out onto the path, where no car belongs. (I don't know how he even got that far.) The driver looked stressed and wanted to know how to get on to the nearby freeway. Several of us assured him that he'd have to back up and try again.

The best part? The sign on the side of the car identifying it as belonging to a driving school. (There's no need to identify the school. We all have off days.)

Book: "Web Design. The Evolution of the Digital World 1990–Today" -Taschen tinyurl.com/y38ddhvw

"This collection is a visual journey through time, gathering the very earliest examples of what we today take for granted: the first website to use surround sound, the first drag-and-drop navigation, the first page-turn effect, the first website to use seamless video integration, the first viral site, the first parallax website, the first ‘upload-your-face’ website, the first site to incorporate a mobile phone, the first ever YouTube-like “website”, and many more.

It gathers more than 200 websites, and each comes with quotes and insights from the creators themselves―an invaluable peek into the minds of pioneers who paved the pixelized way for many to follow, including Jonathan Gay (Flash), Gabo Mendoza (Gabocorp), Yugo Nakamura (Yugop), Peter Van Den Wyngaert (NRG.BE), Joshua Davis (Praystation), and Eric Jordan (2Advanced)."

The digital zoom I had to use to get this close made for a seriously pixelized shot...figured WC would be nice.

I submitted a tee shirt design called Viva La Pixelization! to Threadless.com to be voted on and hopefully printed.

If I get enough high scores the shirt will be printed and sold from the site and I will win some prizes. Take a look at it and if you like it, sign up and give it a score.

Downtown of Seattle, WA, USA. The "comet" is just airplane, but it gives a little magic, so I have chosen this photo, even if it has to many "pixelized" areas.

The little things – those things that you really do mind, but you know there’s no going back in time and that what’s done is done. Often, we really do mind the little things but saying so will achieve nothing. One little pixel at a time in Photoshop. Click to see widescreen version on Flickr.

it isn't love if it's reactive

it's only art if you're a cock-tease artist

and your cock-tease museum will be a tower of babel penetrating the clouds seeking a father figure in the sky

After we finally made our way into Mt. Rainier National Park in April 2013, darkness was impending. In trying to get a few final shots at high ISO, I ended up with a lot of pixelization in the dark areas of the shot.

When I have a shot where I am not satisfied with the quality, I like to play with Photoshop filters and see what I can do to help "hide the blemishes". I've shared all four versions - neon glow, normal, dark strokes and poster edges.

this one was pretty overexposed so i did a slight edit, now it's all pixelized
