Reindeer who miss catching the flight back to the North Pole have to find other means of transportation.

Actually, this is one of those white framed reindeer people typically put in their yard for Christmas. Only this one happened to be tied to the top of a car.

It was night and the light wasn't good in the store parking lot. So, I decided to make it black and white to cover the pixelization and then use the "glowing edges" filter on the shot. I also cloned out the letters and numbers on the license plate to make it more anonymous.

In red and pink, 'cos this print demanded it.

Daily App Experiment #172 "GB Rocker" - I used to love this app called GB Cam, but it got pulled from the app store because of a copyright claim from Nintendo. The developer has FINALLY re-released the app as "2Bit Camera". #2BitCam creates pixelized images, in the style of old Game Boy graphics. What makes this app so neat, are the options for turning on/off dithering, spacing, and even screen color (green vs b/w). For today's #appsperiment I took a shot of @crashfaster performing chip music (on his Game Boy) at #makerfaire and ran it through 2BitCam twice. The first time I used spacing with no dithering, and the second time I used dithering with no spacing. I then ran those two images through #TrueHDR and let it try to figure out which part of which image to use. Mostly it just used the spacing with no dithering. Final touch ups in Camera+, where I used the Chromakey filter for a much more authentic green screen look. #daily_appsperiment

the photos that you'll about to see was taken by an aspiring amatuer photographer, by only using cheap standard camera and low pixelized cam phones. we're sorry for the flaws and unconsistency of the pictures taken by jy park.. ,

Bought this one in 2000 in small shop on Santa Monica's Third Street Boulevard (wouldn't be surprised if it were bankrupt by now).

I like this one for two reasons: One, it makes me look like James “Jimbo” Jones out of Simpsons and two it looks like the 1980ies F.A.S.T. - computer piracy ads.

My pixelization of the Denver Broncos logo to make an intarsia hat

After we finally made our way into Mt. Rainier National Park in April 2013, darkness was impending. In trying to get a few final shots at high ISO, I ended up with a lot of pixelization in the dark areas of the shot.

When I have a shot where I am not satisfied with the quality, I like to play with Photoshop filters and see what I can do to help "hide the blemishes". I've shared all four versions - neon glow, normal, dark strokes and poster edges.

Toronto. I think this building is interesting, but I really don't like the building material, which appears to be aluminum siding.

Uhh... yeah. Almost completely unorganized. There is no order whatsoever to anything that's not noted.

Uploaded at original size if you want to check the titles and mock me: Sorry about the Panasonic's awful pixelization issues. I'd set the Nikon on 'em but the lighting in here is crap.

Best viewed large, but aren't they all?
