... and my camera can't really handle low light. So when it came time to brighten it I got all sorts of trippy pixelization...
I've always been fascinated with pixels. Back in the 80's I did some "pixelized murals in Venice. This is a recent paintingl, lit by worklight, f16 @1/4th, vignetted w/ Ps Burn Tool.
I used the selection invert tool to add a neon pixelized effect to the bird feeder to make it pop out of the photo. I did the same to the surroundings for the same reason.

Cropping heavily was unavoidable with this image because the camera was failing, but the pixelization is not wasted on this gritty subject.

This is what happens when you don't have a telephoto lense and a 12x digital zoom is all you've got! it may be pixelized but i thought the composition was still nice.
