I've finally started on my totally scrappy quilt made of 2.5 inch squares and am loving it --uglies and all.
I received this awesome package fromTheBusyBear!!! She was the sweetest and had a lot of work with this piece of art! little tiny triangles all over!!Thanks Colleen!!

I have a bunch of projects that I'm working on and just feel kind of unsure about. So as I dug in my scraps for something else I decided do so a bit of improv. That always makes me happy!

For the last week of this QAL, we were asked to come up with our own two blocks. I decided to go with a "Home and Away" theme. This is my "Away" block. Our family vacation is always by the coast or the lake. Vacation is fun, sandcastles, daisy chains, rainbow slushies and a good book.
