Tomorrow we are having a baby shower for my daughter, Danielle. She now has under 4 weeks until little Ella is born. This is the cot quilt I have made as a present for her.

Danielle is slowly recovering from her rib injury, but sometimes it seems to be two steps forward and one back. I just hope she is recovered enough for when the baby is born.

Mantas para o sofá e a poltrona , capas para almofadas quadradas e retangulares...

I loved sewing up these 100 simple squares and I like the overall finished product very much. I love the look of squares right to the edge, but it's going to get a patchwork border of the pieces that were not 5" wide and thus couldn't be squares.

Gente, são muito fofos e cheirosinhos!! Vão se transformar em necessaires e estojinhos...

My first quilt block that I made from scraps, I followed this tutorial. This was very easy to make and I plan on making more and putting them together to make a large quilt. Made 9-17-13.

I know it seems crazy but I just was not feeling the improv blocks. I was trying to hard and thought I had to use the mermaids in a " popular, complicated" quilt pattern. When really my favorite quilts using this line are simple patterns that just use the Mendocino fabrics and nothing else. So here is my start and it is coming along awesome and I am way happy with it. Praying I get it finished in time for Gwen's birthday in March.

This is not the final layout I am just making them and adding them to my wall. Once everything is all done I will arrange them. 7 blocks down 13 more to go.

Aquí se ven las dos mochilas.La foto como siempre no dice realmente como son.

Para as estudantes do ISEG, uma delas a minha filha Madalena;)

Loads of fabric scraps from all my various projects turned into a bright and colorful baby quilt for a friend. The backing is blue dot minky fleece.

I finally finished Rita's block! It has been finished since Wednesday, but I couldn't get a good picture in the sun until this morning. I hope you like it Rita! It was fun playing with the great bird fabric and the apples. I was inspired by the kite bunny so I had to include flying geese to represent kite tails.:)
