I made this bag from my scrap bin of 4" vintage sheet squares. It's about 15x15" before adding the depth.
I also used one of my cover-your-own buttons that I've been collecting at thrift stores. I didn't think of it until I couldn't find the right button, but now I'm hooked!
This beautiful bag was made by my friend LauraJay.
I purchased it from her. And can I just say that when I got the package in the mail today, that I almost cried when I saw this. Here work is perfection. There are 72 blocks total on this bag and EVERY single block is different. the colors are gorgeous. Absolutely perfect for me. (it is raining and dark today, so the colors are a little washed out).
Patchwork rectangular patchwork cushion. Hand embroidered with'If friends were flowers I'd pick you'.
I made this one up! Though that doesn't mean that it doesn't already exist as I can't believe there are infinite variations on a 12.5 inch HST block!
