to get this shot, my husband sat me on his shoulders - it was grab-a-shot before he keeled over from the weight...then i realised that one of the bloody blocks was upside down...ha! never mind. stars were just placed anywhere - they will be more balanced when i go to sew them together.
some of the top ones are empty as mum needs to do more quilting for me. blogged.
Maybe too many already. (And yet so many more I like to make.) I'm in serious trouble about how to make this into a consistent whole quilt. Expected, but still trouble. Any advice?
A pillow I made for myself with all my favourite floral fabric by Atsuko Matsuyama. I actually planned to make a doll quilt for my empty wall but I think I need a pillow more! ^_^
it's so so so cuddly, soft and snuggly.

not sewn up yet, just fused to the interfacing... those squares started at just 1.5" they'll be just 1" when all sewn up. :)

Does it bother you when making a pouch that some of the patchwork will be wasted by being on the bottom? Does me!
from this great tutorial. I have a feeling these will be going to lots of names on my Christmas list this year - they're fun!
