This quilt was so fun to make. Just randomly pulling strips and not worrying at all about how it was going to all fit together. There is a great tutorial series on how to do one of these at quiltdad.com.

I want to play around some more with this block assignment. Fun, different sort of place for me to create in. I generally am not drawn to rectangles, but hey, feels good to stretch it out and go out of my comfort zone.
oh Ayumi I messed up!! I was sure I was squaring this block up right but I managed to overlook the tiny detail of centering the ice cream cone. And now it's 1/2" more to the left!
I need some advice from you all. What should I do, trim the block down so the ice cream cone is centered, and then add a little to each side to make it 6 1/2" again? Or just start all over?
By the way it's supposed to be a green tea {you like that flavour right?} vanilla rose ice cream cone. With strawberry, whip cream and red chocolate bow on top!
Peguei a ideia da Celsa Nina ( www.flickr.com/photos/celsanina/5857217742/in/photostream ), minha filha ampliou pra mim e fiz esse centro de mesa...adorei o resultado!

I used this fun and colourful patchwork fabric to create a memory board. A perfect place to collect a little girl's most precious pictures, postcards and anything else she might fancy...
...olhem só que desafio. Minha amiga Tuti me deu este "livrinho" de aniversário.
Confere sim, são 365 motivos. Dois eu já fiz.

Worked on some patchwork panels to make several scrappy pouches for some sweet mama's this weekend. 💕👠I'll finish tomorrow and add some hexie embellished notecards and other goodies.
