This month, Shawn sent us everything but the "pointy" parts of the star, and asked us to fill them with coordinating fabrics from our stash. What a great idea to get a scrappy block!

These are for a friend who in my opinion needs a big hug and a large bunch of flowers. Since she doesn't live close by, I'll send her hearts and daisies...on a pair of potholders of course ;-)
I am completely into potholders nowadays.... but I am still thinking about how to move on with my rainbow/black-and-whitequilt. Somehow I just need to make things that are ready in one day before I move on with my large project:-)

Finished! I'm not sure what year I started this quilt. It was 2007 or earlier. I don't know why I put it aside so long, as I really like it now that it's finished. I'll admit, though, I hired someone with a longarm machine to do the quilting for me on this one.
