The Quebec Gatineau train for Thurso is passing the boarded-up Calumet Station. It has a pair of geeps (QGRY 2009 and 2502) and 14 cars. Thanks to Ken Goslett for driving and choosing the spots, as this is my first time shooting this scenic line.
A busy moment at Llandrindod Wells on the Heart of Wales Line. Class 153 unit 153 320 (right) has arrived with the southbound 2V08 0914 Crewe to Swansea service. In the northbound platform classmate 153303 is working the 2M08 0933 Swansea to Shrewsbury service. Llandrindod Wells is one of a number of stations on the single line between Llanelli and Craven Arms with a passing loop. The drivers, conductors and catering attendants from 2V08 and 2M08 will swap trains here, returning north and south respectively.

Last Monday, Akira Tagawa, Kiyoshi Noguchi, Todd Fong, and I met up and wandered around Shibuya on our way to an izakaya, where we enjoyed some delicious food and drinks.

Recently artists were invited into Temple Works - a former flax mill in Holbeck, Leeds, UK, built by John Marshall in the 1830's - to make a visual and acoustic record of this Grade 1 listed building before works begin to transform it from its current derelict state, into a creative hub and multi purpose space.
The image above was from my second visit.
The images, video and audio recorded while on these little exploratory visits, will form the basis of a video piece for submission to an exhibition on October 9, to mark a sneak preview 'opening' at Temple Mills, as part of the Leeds Light Night Festival 09.

When faced with a choice of getting a sensible number of hours sleep before a flight...or going out to take some late night shots, a photographer has to shoot. :-)
